We love free summer fun in the city and the Kitsilano Showboat is a quintessential Vancouver experience! Their 89th season is in full swing but there’s still a lot of entertainment coming up.

Kitsilano Showboat Schedule 2024

  • Dates: Fridays, Saturday, and Sundays until the end of July
  • Hours: All performances at 7:00pm
  • Location: By Kits Pool at 2300 Cornwall Ave, Vancouver
  • Admission: Free!

Festivities began in late June with an Indigenous Peoples Day celebration and the stage is set for the following acts in this month:

Canada Together at Canada Place July 1st in Vancouver

This year marks the 38th annual July 1st event at Canada Place, which has historically been the largest Canada Day celebration outside Ottawa. Enjoy a full day of family-friendly festivities, great food, multiple activity zones, Indigenous displays, and a diverse lineup of performances, including headliners Said the Whale.

Planned collaboratively with representatives from the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. the theme of the event is “Weaving together the fabric of a nation,” which honours Canada’s diversity and marks the day as one for gathering, celebrating, learning and sharing. Weaving is a common activity across many cultures and is a metaphor for the way the beauty, strength, and wisdom from the past can combine through multiple perspectives to create something meaningful for today and tomorrow.
