Help make spirits bright this holiday season by supporting these holiday toy drives located in communities around Vancouver. Donations of new, unwrapped gifts, monetary donations and more are welcomed.

If you are looking to receive toy drive support this season, registration is now open through the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. The Salvation Army in Vancouver also registers local low-income families for Christmas assistance, as does the Surrey Christmas Bureau, and Burnaby Community Services supports families and seniors. There are a variety of Holiday Hamper Programs available as well.

Specific Dates / Events

  • Landsdowne Centre Toy Drive
  • Date: November 22, 2025 from 9:00am to 2:00pm
  • Location: Lansdowne Centre parking lot next to the Canada Line Lansdowne Station (5300 No 3 Rd, Richmond)
  • Details:This event also marks the 93rd year of the Richmond Christmas Fund, organized by Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives (RCRG), which aims to encourage the public to support the families in need by donating toys during the holiday season. Community members are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys for the Richmond Christmas Fund, or make a minimum $10 donation. As a token of appreciation, everyone who contributes will receive a complimentary bag of mini-donuts. The event will also feature family-friendly holiday activities, community booths, photos with Santa, and a full-size street hockey rink, where members of the Richmond RCMP and the Richmond Sockeyes will face off against local VIPs.
  • SHARE Family & Community Service TOYBANK
  • Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025
  • Location: Coqutilam Centre Level 2 between Walmart and H&M (2929 Barnet Hwy #2201, Coquitlam)
  • Details: Donate new, unwrapped gifts to the SHARE Family & Community Services Toy Drive. This event, which will also feature complimentary arts and crafts, Selfies with SHARE bear, and a few other holiday surprises kicks off SHARE’s SHARE JOY Holiday Program which provides gifts for families with children 0-17 years of age and holiday food hampers for families and individuals.  Help SHARE fulfill its mission of collecting 1,800 unwrapped toys, with a special request for kids and teens from ages 6 to 17. Purchase a Coquitlam Centre gift card from the kiosk located next to the ToyBank and donate it to SHARE and CQC will match your donation.
  • Toy Mountain at Guildford
  • Date: December 4-5, 2025
  • Location: Centre Court at Town Centre (10355 152 St, Surrey)
  • Details: For the 12th year, Bell Media’s Toy Mountain will be accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. Early risers who make a donation between 6:00am and 10:00am, can enjoy a complimentary breakfast to go from Triple O’s.
  • Photos with Santa…on a Harley!
  • Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 9:00am to 1:00pm
  • Location: Trev Deeley Motorcycles (1875 Boundary Road, Vancouver)
  • Details: Stop by for the toy drop, pancake breakfast, and photos with Santa. Bring an unwrapped toy, or cash. Pancake breakfast is from 9:00am to 1:00pm; photos with Santa 11:00am to 2:00pm.
  • Christmas Wish Breakfast & Toy Drive
  • Date: Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 6:00am to 9:00am
  • Location: Pan Pacific Hotel (999 Canada Place, Vancouver)
  • Details: The Christmas Wish Breakfast is one of Canada’s largest toy drives and each year thousands of toys, clothes, bikes and cash are donated to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. Volunteers from the Vancouver Police Department and Vancouver Fire Rescue are on hand to help out and stack the gigantic pile of toys. Donate new unwrapped toys or cash donation and you’ll receive a complimentary breakfast from the Pan Pacific from 6:00am to 9:00am.

Ongoing

  • Surrey Christmas Bureau
  • Date: Tuesday to Saturday, between 9:00am and 3:0pm
  • Location: 13665 102 Ave, Surrey (inside the old Canadian Tire building)
  • Details: The Surrey Christmas Bureau is BC’s largest Christmas charity and for over 40 years has been dedicated to bringing holiday joy to low-income families in Surrey by providing toys and grocery hampers during the Christmas season. Seeking donations of NEW, unwrapped toys and/or lightly used coats and shoes. You can also make a monetary donation online.
  • Richmond Christmas Fund
  • Date: Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Location: Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives (190-7000 Minoru Blvd, Richmond)
  • Details: Drop off new, unwrapped gifts. Please be advised that, due to allergies they are no longer accepting donations of stuffed animals. Books make a great gift! You can also make a monetary donation online.
  • Langley Christmas Bureau
  • Date: Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 3:30pm and select Saturdays
  • Location: Langley Christmas Bureau (20245 Industrial Ave, Langley)
  • Details: Drop off a donation of a new toy or gift certificate. Please note that stuffed animals are not recommended due to allergies.
  • The Toy Room at Metropolis at Metrotown
  • Date: Until December 20, 2025 Tuesday to Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm 
  • Location: Metropolis at Metrotown (Upper level, next to Winners, across from Plenty)
  • Details: Help support the Burnaby Christmas Bureau. Donations of new, unwrapped toys or cash donations will be accepted.

    • Outdoor toys: e.g. tricycle, kick scooter, balance bike, balls
    • Building blocks: e.g. Megablocks, wooden blocks, stacking blocks

  • For elementary and pre-teens:
    • Outdoor toys: e.g. kick scooter, bicycle, soccer ball, basketball, sled
    • Building blocks and sets: e.g. Lego, marble maze, Kiva blocks
    • Action figures and dolls: e.g. Barbie, play sets, video game characters, Marvel action figures
    • Age appropriate electronics like VTech toys
  • For teens:
    • Sports and activities: e.g. Nerf toys, bicycles, hockey gear, skateboard, activity tracker
    • Games, Arts & Crafts: e.g. Settlers of Catan, Cards Against Humanity, Scrabble, Codenames, Telestrations, professional art supplies, intricate models, advanced Lego sets
    • Electronics: e.g. video game consoles, tablets, portable chargers, iphone/ipod, handheld gaming devices, smart phones
    • Musical items: e.g. guitars, keyboards, drums, Bluetooth speakers, headphones, wireless earbuds
    • Lifestyle: e.g. watch/smartwatches, fitness/water bottles, backpacks, books, travel mugs, make-up, jewelry, hair styling tools, wallets, purses
    • Tickets and gift cards
