Holiday Toy Drives Around Vancouver
Toy Mountain at Guildford
Date: November 27-29, 2024
Location: Centre Court at Town Centre (10355 152 St, Surrey)
Details: For the 11th year, Bell Media’s Toy Mountain will be accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. Early risers who make a donation between 6:00am and 10:00am, can enjoy a complimentary breakfast to go from Triple O’s.
Miracle on Main Street Toy Drive
Date: Sunday, December 1, 2024
Location: Mount Pleasant brewery (261 E 7th Ave, Vancouver)
Details: The fifth-annual Miracle on Main Street Toy Drive to benefit the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre is December 1st. From December 1 to December 12, every guest dropping off unwrapped toys, games, sporting goods or gift cards with a minimum value of $15 will receive a complimentary card for a flight of four Main St. flagship beers that can be redeemed during a future visit, as well as entry into a series of a dozen prize draws taking place December 12th through 24th.
Toy Drive at London Drugs
Date: Wednesday, December 4, 2024
Location: 525 West Broadway and 710 Granville Street (8:00am to 5:00pm); and 4970 Kingsway (10:00am to 2:00pm) drive-through drop off
Details: Accepting unwrapped toys or cash donations.
Christmas Wish Breakfast & Toy Drive
Date: Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 6:00am to 9:00am
Location: Pan Pacific Hotel (999 Canada Place, Vancouver)
Details: More than 150 Vancouver Firefighters Charities members — and Santa— will gather in the lobby to accept unwrapped gifts and assemble already donated toys into a majestic Christmas tree-shaped mountain of gifts that will all be donated to families in need by the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.
All those who donate toys on the day will enjoy a complimentary hot buffet breakfast provided by the Pan Pacific Hotel where they can meet and greet off-duty firefighters and share in the festive spirit while enjoying a parade, vintage fire trucks events and choirs singing carols.
Surrey Christmas Bureau
Date: Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm
Location: Surrey Christmas Bureau (13665 102 Ave, Surrey)
Details: Donations of new, unwrapped toys are requested, as well as new or lightly used coats and shoes.
Richmond Christmas Fund
Date: Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm
Location: Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives (190-7000 Minoru Blvd, Richmond)
Details: Accepting donations of new, unwrapped gifts. A list of popular gifts can be found on the 2024 Wish List. Please note, due to allergies, stuffed animals will no longer be accepted.
Landsdowne Centre Toy Drive
Date: November 23, 2024 from 9:00am to 2:00pm
Location: Lansdowne Centre parking lot (by the Canada Line station)
Details: In collaboration with the Richmond RCMP to support the 10th Annual Richmond Toy Drive, donate new, unwrapped toys or cash donation. Every donation will receive a bag of warm mini donuts and a ticket to a Richmond Sockeyes game. Gently used clothes, blankets, and textiles will also be collected and donated to the Salvation Army. If you can’t attend on November 23, early donations are welcome at any RCMP office location or RBC Royal Bank location in Richmond.
Langley Christmas Bureau
Date: Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 3:30pm (as well as two Saturdays on November 23 & December 7 from 10:00am to 2:00pm)
Location: Langley Christmas Bureau (20245 Industrial Ave, Langley)
Details: Drop off a donation of a new toy or gift certificate. Please note that stuffed animals are not recommended due to allergies.
SHARE Family & Community Service TOYBANK
Date: December 2-24, 2024
Location: Coqutilam Centre Level 2 between Walmart and H&M (2929 Barnet Hwy #2201, Coquitlam)
Details: SHARE is happily accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys, gift cards as well as debit and credit donations (no cash please). This year SHARE is requesting gifts for teens and youths aged 6 to 17. A wish list is available online for gift ideas.
Burnaby Firefighters’ Toy Drive
Date: December 7, 2024 from 11:00am to 6:00pm
Location: Metropolis at Metrotown (Ground Level near Fossil)
Details: Help support the Burnaby Christmas Bureau in collaboration with the Burnaby Firefighters Charitable Society. Donations of new, unwrapped toys or cash donations will be accepted.
