This Spring Break at the Richmond Olympic Experience (The Rox), kids get in FREE with the purchase of an adult ticket, between March 21st and 28th!

Richmond Olympic Experience This Spring Break

Every child that attends also receives a free mini sport ball, and free skating at the Richmond Olympic Oval with paid ROX ticket on Family ROX Day (Saturday, March 19th).

Check out the exhibits, and the many interactive challenges and sport simulators, from kayak and sit ski to hockey — even sports reporting. Participate in the ROX Spring Break Bobsleigh challenge during this time as well and the winner will receive a 4-pack of Whitecaps FC tickets for their upcoming match vs LA Galaxy on April 2nd.

All of these activities and hands-on experiences make The Rox the most interactive sports exhibition in North America!

Easter Carnival at Leigh Square in Port Coquitlam

The City of Port Coquitlam is hosting the 6th annual Easter Carnival at Leigh Square Community Arts Village. Join in for an afternoon of family fun that includes egg dying, festive art creations, an Easter egg hunt, face painting, and carnival treats.

When: Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Tickets: This event is a sell-out every year so sign up early as there is limited registration at the door. Cost is $11 per child. All children must be accompanied by adults while at the event. Pre-register your family online t or 604-927-PLAY (7529).

You can also enjoy a a live theatre performance by Little Canary Theatre, and a new art exhibit, Up Close: A Collection of Animal Portraits, that will be showcase amazing animal portraits by artists Jeff Wilson and Sarah Roland at the Michael Wright Art Gallery.

BCDistilled-LogoEast Vancouver has been called the Craft Beer Capital of Canada however all around the province, distilleries are catching up when it comes to producing craft spirits.

BC Distilled is Canada’s premier craft and micro-distillery festival, raising a glass to BC’s burgeoning distillery industry.

The third annual festival, happening on Saturday, March 26th, will feature 27 BC-based artisan distilleries, offering attendees the opportunity to sample locally-made gin, whisky, liqueurs, vodka and more.

Where: Croatian Cultural Centre (3520 Commercial Drive, Vancouver)
When: Saturday, March 26, 2016
Trade Tasting: 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Public Tasting: 6:30pm to 9:00pm
Tickets: Tickets are $59.99 and include sample pours from 27 distilleries.

You can also learn the art of pairing, as many of the festival’s partnering restaurants and chefs collaborate with distilleries to complement cocktails with their canapés. Like what you’re trying? Take a bottle home thanks to the Legacy Liquor “Pop-Up Shop” on-site that will be selling more than 100 products from participating distilleries.

BC Distilled is an invitation to imbibe (responsibly) with proceeds going to support the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS). PADS service and hearing dogs provide life-changing independence and enhanced quality of life to those with physical disabilities other than blindness. A charity auction and a raffle of some exhibitors’ donated wares will raise additional funds for the cause.
