Destination Downtown
Destination Downtown takes place across many locations in downtown Vancouver from November 28 to December 22. Most activations, including lighting installations and artist performances, happen along the Coal Harbour seawall between Canada Place and Cardero Park (by the Westin).
Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza is home to the Ferris Wheel, and 13 other locations throughout the downtown core host word-based lighting installations.
Visit 5 larger-than-life animals: Luna the Whale (Canada Place); Davie the Grizzly (Vancouver Convention Centre Plaza); Squirrel (Cardero Park); Beaver (Cardero Park); Heron (Cardero Park).
In Coal Harbour, performance areas will be activated from Thursday to Sunday evenings from 5:00pm to 9:30pm with musicians, artists and fire performers. A snow globe-like dome at Harbour Green Park will be the hub of the activations and offer a warm and cozy covered area featuring a live music stage and a hot chocolate stand. All event activations are accessible and free for everyone to enjoy!
Win Taylor Swift Tickets
Visit one or more of the 13 word-based Swift-inspired locations between November 29th and December 6 to enter in a chance to win tickets to see Taylor Swift close out the Eras Tour at BC Place. To enter the contest:
- Visit one or more of the 13 Taylor-themed lighting installations.
- Follow the instructions on the signage adhered to the installation.
- Download the Stamp Me app, which acts as a digital stamp card. Available for download on the Apple Store or Google Play Store.

- You can revisit the same lyric several times to earn multiple stamps from the same location. However, stamps or entries from the same lyric must be 24 hours apart.
