Potters, Western Canada’s largest Christmas store, is open for the season in Surrey and you can enter to win a $100 gift card! Now in its 21st year, this beloved tradition turns the 28,000 sq ft Potters Nursery into a shimmering, flocked, glittery winter wonderland, offering an enchanting holiday shopping experience.

On top of the impressive decor and design inspiration, you can shop distinctive gifts, including stocking stuffers and traditional toys, puzzles and games for sharing time over the holidays. If you’re looking for hand-picked ornaments with almost any theme imaginable, or an assortment of 75 different stocking designs (for humans and pets), this is the place!

There are 25 themed trees throughout the space including Pastel Perfect, glowing in dreamy shades of pink and blue; the Enchanted Forest, filled with butterflies, birds and whimsical woodland creatures; and Sea Spray, a coastal creation sparkling with shimmering sea life.

New This Year

The front-entrance display this year is themed the Polar Bear Forest and it welcomes guests with thousands of shimmering crystals and ornaments in white, silver and gold. Together, they create a sparkling forest of tall trees adorned with lights that resemble crystals and shift in colour. Wander over to the whimsical Fantasyland of Sweets, a delicious dreamscape where cookies, cakes, cotton candy, donuts and other treats are transformed into delightful tree ornaments.

The 3,000 sq ft Dark Room, with all of the light ornaments and decorations now has more than 40 designs of nightlights, a wide selection of Christmas lanterns, and LED Infinity Lights that look like two-way mirrors. Train Town has moving carousels, an elevated Santa on a scissor lift, tiny skating rinks, mini-ski lifts, cable cars and all sorts of other moving parts. Granny’s Attic, next to Train Town, has tiny, adorable felt mice along with vintage items that whirr, click, beep and light up in the most delightful ways. Other themed zones include Gourmet Food, Petland, Coca-Cola, Great Britain, and fashions (from purses and jewelry to scarves and nightgowns).
