Founded as the capital of the Colony of British Columbia in 1858, New Westminster is rich in history and with many new developments, it has a very bright future. Located on the banks of the Mighty Fraser River, the Royal City is steeped in culture and industry. Most photos feature the SkyBridge, the historic downtown, and the riverfront but Queen’s Park, Sapperton, Uptown, and Queensborough are also worth exploring.
