Herstory Gala in Support of Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre

  • Dates: Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm
  • Location: D/6 Lounge at Parq Vancouver (39 Smithe St, Vancouver)
  • Tickets: Available online now. Enjoy drinks and complimentary hors d’oeuvres provided by Parq Vancouver.

Workout for Women’s Day Sessions

  • Workout for Women’s Day is gearing up for their 7th annual campaign March 4-8, 2026, just in time for International Women’s Day. The initiative brings together local movement studios and instructors who offer public and private (corporate) classes that raise money and awareness for charities that support girls, women, and other marginalized genders. Gender Equity in Media Festival GEMFest Vancouver

International Women’s Day March Vancouver

  • Tickets: Free to attend. Join for powerful speeches from local activists and community leaders (speakers TBA) followed by a march across Vancouver. International Women’s Day March Vancouver works to celebrate, amplify, and fight alongside the diversity of women in our community to achieve equity and create awareness of issues self-identifying women in Vancouver face.

Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

  • Dates: Saturday, March 7 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm
  • Location: Surrey Art Gallery (13750 88 Ave, Surrey)
  • Tickets: Free to attend. Help increase the representation of women and non-binary artists on Wikipedia! In partnership with Rungh magazine, learn how to create and edit entries on the world’s largest online encyclopedia. 

Honourable Mention

  • YWCA BC will also announce the nominees for the 2026 Women of Distinction Awards at an invite-only event on Thursday. Miss604 will have the full list of nominees and information about this year’s awards gala at that time.
