Save The Date Workout for Women’s Day

by Rebecca Bollwitt

Workout for Women’s Day is gearing up for their 7th annual campaign March 4-8, 2026, just in time for International Women’s Day. The initiative brings together local movement studios and instructors who offer public and private (corporate) classes that raise money and awareness for charities that support girls, women, and other marginalized genders.

Founded in 2019 by the team at Stronger Together Vancouver, Workout for Women’s Day has raised over $240,000 for local causes. For 2026, the benefitting causes are:

How it Works

  • Donate to the cause of your choice (consider what you’d spend on a drop-in class, or donate what you can).
  • Check the schedule (to be announced at the end of February) and find workout classes you’d like to participate in. They usually have had everything from Barre and Self-Defence, to Yoga, Zumba, a Forest Stroll, and so much more.
  • Register for your class(ess) and you’re good to go!

Get Involved with Workout for Women’s Day

For groups, there is a corporate engagement package that includes opportunities to activate, including booking a private staff fitness class and corporate giving.

The team is looking for contributions of experiences and items for the online silent auction, in support of all three of their 2026 causes. They are also looking swag for participants and/or to gift to the approximately 50 amazing fitness instructors who donate their teaching time and spaces. It’s a great way to get your product in the hands of Vancouver’s fitness community. Get in touch if you would like to contribute.
