BCHF Spirit of Hospitality Lottery
BC’s hospitality and tourism sector is not only what makes our province such a great place to live and play, it’s the heartbeat of our communities. The BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) aids these industries by assisting hundreds of workers facing financial crises due to health conditions. You can contribute to their efforts by participating in their fall fundraiser, the Spirit of Hospitality Lottery.

Since 2006, the BCHF has provided over $1.28 million in direct financial support to more than 325 hospitality workers facing unexpected medical crises. These funds help individuals and families across BC cover essentials such as rent, groceries, and medical expenses while they recover.
“Every dollar makes a difference,” says Alana Dickson, executive director of the BCHF. “When someone’s facing an illness or injury, a bit of help can mean the world. We’re asking our community to come together so we can keep saying ‘yes’ when workers reach out for help.”
The Spirit of Hospitality Lottery offers ticket buyers the chance to win over $40,000 in Canadian travel and dining prizes, including a Rocky Mountaineer rail journey, a Big White ski vacation, a Sicamous houseboat adventure, and luxury getaways in Victoria, Tofino, Whistler and Quebec City.
