Playland Opening Spring 2019: Win Passes
Playland is opening this season on Saturday, May 4th with your favourite rides and attractions including The Beast, the Wooden Roller Coaster and many more, plus those delicious mini-donuts. Gates open to the public at 11:00 am for the 2019 season, so mark your calendars for the unofficial start of summer!
Playland Opening Spring 2019
Spring Hours: Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays 11:00am to 6:00pm
Thrill seekers can choose from over 35 rides and attractions, including Playland’s most historic and beloved attraction, the Wooden Roller Coaster (rated #1 wooden coaster in Canada) and Canada’s most extreme pendulum ride, The Beast. Or take a wild spin on Crazy Beach Party and strap yourself in on the Hellevator, with its fantastic 200-foot free fall!
Family attractions such as the Climbing Wall will keep aspiring alpinists busy or win some prizes at BC’s largest midway, which is open all summer long as well! Buen Gusto Tacos and Totchos, Cheese Please, and Triple O’s returns to provide scrumptious snacks to foodies, while Fundunkers Donut Shop, the Candy Shoppe, S’Luscious and BeaverTails will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.
Get ready for a whole summer of fun by purchasing a one-day admission or season pass online where you’ll save up to $4 – compared to buying at the gate. Admission includes unlimited access to over 35 rides and attractions*, including the three newest family rides and the top wooden roller coaster in Canada!
*Revelation, Drop Zone, and Haunted Mansion are not included with admission/passes and have individual add-on fees.

Playland’s wooden roller coaster is my favourite all time ride!! I was only 1 and a 1/2 years old when it was built and have loved going there my entire life. If I win this it will for my husband and I with our two grandkids!

great family fun prize
One of my first childhood memories of a family outing was going to Playland when I was 7 years old. I was soooo excited that I rushed to the swing ride (individual seats help up by chairs and it spins and you fly in the sky – sorry can not remember the name) and had the best 10 seconds of my childhood. Then I became nauseous, projectile vomited and my dad carried me around for the whole day 🙂 GREAT TIMES! Cant wait to take my kids on that ride 🙂
