Grouse Mountain Celebrates 100 Years with Centennial Festival
The Grouse Mountain Centennial Festival is a week-long celebration (July 23 to August 3) featuring drone shows, live music, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and more to mark the 100th anniversary of the Peak of Vancouver.

At the heart of the celebration is A Century of Stories, an original cinematic drone show experience that will illuminate the night sky on select evenings throughout the festival. Told from the perspective of Grouse Mountain itself, the immersive production combines hundreds of synchronized drones, cinematic music, Indigenous drumming and powerful storytelling to celebrate 100 years of shared memories, adventure, and connection on the mountain.
Another highlight will be the 25th Bear-thday Fundraiser for Grinder and Coola on July 25th. Watch them enjoy their annual birthday cake, learn more about grizzly bear conservation from Wildlife Rangers, and help support the Grizzly Bear Foundation.
Have you ever watched an outdoor movie from the top of a mountain? You can at Movies on the Mountain at the newly rebuilt Birds in Motion area on top of Grouse. Bring a blanket, gather your family and friends, and enjoy movies under the stars. The summer movie program kicks off July 30th with Jurassic Park.
