Queer as Funk Kicks Off Pride Weekend at the Commodore

  • Dates: Friday, July 31 2026 – doors 7:00pm
  • Location: The Commodore Ballroom (868 Granville St, Vancouver)
  • Tickets: Available online now for $48 + fees.

For over 13 years, Queer as Funk has been a cornerstone of the BC music scene, known for electrifying performances that fuse funk, soul, Motown, and R&B. Their music is a beacon of inclusivity, joyously and unapologetically celebrating the 2SLGBTQI+ community in Vancouver. They are not just musicians. They are advocates for social justice and community engagement, using every show as a chance to bring people together.

This performance will bring the full band together with a lineup of celebrated guests for one of the biggest queer dance parties of the summer. For the band, it is more than a concert. It is a celebration of their ongoing commitment to building community through music, and an invitation for Vancouver to start Pride loud, proud, and on the dance floor.
