CANstruction Vancouver 2014
byEverybody’s favourite food + art + charity project has returned as CANstruction sets up shop inside several downtown buildings. Running from May 11th until May 16th, this free public exhibition showcases colossal structures made entirely out of full cans of food.
CANstruction Vancouver Locations
After the structures are built, the creations go on display to the public as a giant art exhibition at our three venues: The Pendulum Gallery, The Rotunda at Pacific Center and The Four Seasons Hotel. Each location will display multiple sculptures based on this year’s theme “AROUND THE WORLD” the entire campaign will use an estimated 90,000 cans of food.
Founded by MET Fine Printers and Presented by FortisBC, all of the canned food used in the sculptures is donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank after display. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the creative displays, and knowing that all of this fun is for a great cause.
Follow CANstruction on Twitter and Facebook for more information. Hours depend on the opening hours of the buildings in which the display will sit.
