Grouse Mountain Winter Giveaway
byGrouse Mountain is The Peak of Christmas this season with a handful of activities for families, even if you’re not a skier. Enjoy sleigh rides, outdoor ice skating, carollers, music, and visit with Santa himself until December 24, 2011.
Other special events include Breakfast with Santa from December 14th until the 24th, and a Christmas Lunch on weekdays between 11:30am and 2:00pm in The Observatory restaurant.
I have partnered with Grouse Mountain’s Peak of Christmas for a fantastic family (and friends) giveaway. They have put together a wonderful winter prize pack that includes: 4 tickets up the skyride, 4 snowshoe passes, and 4 ice skate rentals. You can spend the whole day in the snow, looking down on our gorgeous region.

I went on a first date one time with this guy, and I took him up to Grouse, and we went ice skating on the pond outside, then we went in for some hot chocolate and snacks I’d brought. It was a pretty amazing first date! The relationship didn’t last, but what a great memory!
My fave snow activity… does sitting by the fire with a snifter of Bailey’s count??

When I was a kid I used to like making face first snow angels. …yes I wanted my snow angels to have faces.

I live in Texas now – no snow 🙁 my favourite winter activity was in Alaska walking home in the dark through dark woods. That muffled quiet. A little bit of snow falling, the soft crunch underfoot. It could have been any time period.

It used to be making snowman with my one and only grandson when he was just a baby. Now that he is three, got picky with he looks of the snowman and it became back breaking for me. Now we just make snow angels even in the carpeted floor pretending that here is snow. It gets quite pricey to go up to any mountains these days.
