Celebration of Light Bleacher Contest 2
byThe Celebration of Light fireworks in English Bay are taking place July 30th, August 3rd, and August 6th. This year, you can catch the dazzling offshore display of pyrotechnics from reserved bleacher seating and I’ve already given away a pair of tickets for the first show July 30th when China will light up the skies.
Here’s how you can enter to win my other pair of tickets for reserved bleacher seating for the second fireworks night:
1. Simply fill out the contest box below telling me which country will be presenting that night.
Should the contest box not appear on your screen, you can enter via the official contest page.
2. Or for an additional entry, post the following on Twitter:
One winner will be drawn at 10:00am Monday, July 25, 2011 at random from all entries (contest box entries will be compiled along with Twitter entries).
Also new this year, you can pick up Celebration of Light t-shirts which are now for sale online for $20. I was one of the t-shirt design contest judges and it’s great to see contest winner Reena Negi’s idea come to life on this year’s shirt.
Follow the Celebration of Light on Twitter or Facebook for updates leading up to this summer’s events and add your photos to their group on Flickr.

I was in San Francisco last week to celebrate July 4th, and let me tell you, the fireworks competition we have here in Vancouver is so much better than what the US of A could pull off! It blows it out of the water! (Literally) Doesn’t look like you have to travel far to see such a great event!
