The FIFA World Cup has taken over Vancouver and there are fans and visitors from all over the world enjoying the festive atmosphere. On now until July 19th, you can catch all of the action at a variety of watch public parties around Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, and beyond.

Burnaby

Coquitlam

Langley

  • In Langley City, join the Global Game Day celebrations on June 18, July 2, July 7, and July 19 at Civic Plaza at Langley City Hall.
  • In Langley Township, hang out at the Stadium at Langley Events Centre to watch the matches on select dates.

Maple Ridge

  • Game On Maple Ridge hosts free viewing parties for select matches at Memorial Peace Park / The ACT Arts Centre.

New Westminster

North Vancouver

Surrey

  • Surrey Civic Plaza, the Cloverdale Agriplex and South Surrey Athletic Park all have celebration sites and last week the city announced that they will add a new site at Holland Park with screens for public viewing of the matches.

    • Match 51: Wednesday, 24 June 2026 at 12:00 PT — Switzerland v Canada
    • Match 64: Friday, 26 June 2026 at 20:00 PT — New Zealand v Belgium
  • Round of 32 fixtures:
    • Match 85: Thursday 2 July 2026 at 20:00 PT — Group B winners v Group E/F/G/I/J third place
  • Round of 16 fixtures:
    • Match 96: Tuesday 7 July 2026 at 13:00 PT — Winner match 85 v Winner match 87

If you’re getting around the city, or any other, transit will be a great option as there are some road closures and many people in attendance so parking will be limited. According to TransLink, Vancouver’s first FIFA World Cup 202 match was TransLink’s busiest Saturday event since the Olympics. System-wide ridership topped one million boardings!
