Twice a year (for our anniversary and John’s birthday) I do a write-up about how important my husband is to me. I start to cry while typing, I get an email from my mom about how I made her cry, and it becomes one big huge sap-fest. This year, I’m going to keep things light.
This is John Bollwitt.
He is incredibly smart and can do so many things I cannot, like perfecting a diplex radio transmission, managing MySQL databases, and hitting a home run.
He takes me on adventures, introduces me to new music, and makes sure I upgrade my hardware.
He teaches me to keep my eyes on the prize, not to sweat the small stuff, and to always have fun.
He loves his family with all of his heart. Even though life gets in the way sometimes, they are in his thoughts always and I know absolutely nothing is more important to him than them.
I realized a long time ago that I’m the second most important woman in his life, and seeing who takes the top spot, it’s an honour.
He holds my hand when we go for walks in the park. His smile makes my heart melt and my knees weak.
Happy birthday to my business partner, husband and best friend, John.
