Snowy Chilliwack Photowalk at Cultus Lake
byYesterday John and I headed East to hang out with our pal Duane and after an evening housewarming party, we ventured up to Cultus Lake for a chilly photowalk this morning. It was also my first official photowalk with my new Fuji Finepix S2000HD cam, which I am falling in love with after years of being a Canon girl.
It’s easy to find a nice place for a brisk walk, especially out here, and it’s a great way to cure the winter blues. You can view the rest of my photos in my Chilliwack Flickr set.

Is this anywhere near “Chilcultus?” Did you use a shuttle?
The view alone is why I made the switch to paddle out there then at false creek this year.
Awwwwww, that right there, is my summertime camping hangout, has been for over 17 years now.
I’m not used to seeing it all under a blanket of snow! Looks like you two had a nice day. 🙂
Those are beautiful photos! I love Cultus Lake 🙂 Where is the old Expo 86 bench out there?
I love going here every summer. I do find that every summer it seems that more and more people are coming out…so it’s always crazy busy.
We used to drive up here every Sunday after church for a picnic when I was little. This is actually where I learned not to drown.
