Canadian Blog Awards 2008 Best Local Blog Finalist
byThe second round of voting has started in the Canadian Blog Awards and the field has been narrowed to five finalists in each category.
I’d like to congratulate Kitsilano.ca for making the cut for Best Local Blog and encourage everyone to check them out.
They’re as local as you can get while providing news and tons of restaurant reviews. It’s also run by our pal Rob Lewis (also of super mega tech site, Techvibes) and they use my friend Duane’s photo as a header image.
Kitsilano.ca is up against powerhouse blogs like Windsor Eats so if you’d like to see Vancouver represented, consider casting your ballot for this West coast contender. The voting for the Canadian Blog Awards will wrap up December 7th.

Hey Rebecca – thanks for the mention. And thanks to Duane for his awesome photo – it makes our blog really stand out.
Well, you are still a Blogebrity in our fair city as per your bio, no matter what happens elsewhere.:) And for a Local Blog, that’s the true goal, right?
The Podcast “After the Credits” mislabeled as “Row Three” is also still in the running. After the Credits is a local podcast contributed by Marina Antunes, Dale McGladdery and Colleen Vince (me).
@ Colleen – awesome! I think I’m one of the people that nominated the podcast… so I may be guilty – oops!
@ Meg – yes, and love to promote other local talent as well (such as yourself) with links and shout outs.
