  • Date: Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
  • Location: The Junction (1138 Davie St, Vancouver)
  • Tickets: Free or by donation, reserve your spot

ECHO highlights two landmark anniversaries:

  • 25 Years Since Little Sister’s Bookstore v. Canada – Storyteller Glenn Tkach (he/him) will present the story of Vancouver’s Little Sister’s Book & Art Emporium, which fought censorship and won the right for queer and trans stories to be seen and heard.
  • 25 Years Since the Modernization of Benefits and Obligations Act – Libby Davies (she/her), Canada’s first openly lesbian MP, will reflect on her experiences and her role in advancing legal protections for same-sex couples.

The afternoon will also feature: Member of the historic Brunswick Four, activist, and entrepreneur, Adrienne Rosen; and host, drag performer, activist, and co-founder of Visible, Kendall Gender.

“ECHO is an opportunity to reflect on the incredible bravery of those who came before us and to celebrate the voices that continue to inspire our communities today,” said Glenn Tkach, storyteller and creator of The Really Gay History Tour.

International Day of Pink is a global movement celebrating diversity, inclusion, and the resilience of LGBTQ2S+ communities. Each year, the organization inspires individuals, schools, and workplaces to take a stand against bullying and discrimination while promoting equity, visibility, and acceptance.
