byMeet the Basin’s creative class, musicians, producers and creators during the #BuyBasin Festival online! Business owners in the Columbia Basin (from Revelstoke to Salmo, Castlegar to Sparwood, and all points in between) have been invited to host a Facebook Live session during #BuyBasin Festival, and everyone is invited to tune in! They’ll be showcasing everything from live music to hand-made goods, delicious artisanal treats, local art, cool places to stay, helpful services, and so much more.

100 local entrepreneurs, entertainers, and businesses will be going live on Facebook with expert tips, giveaways, demos, live music, and all kinds of behind-the-scenes fun.
About the Columbia Basin Trust Region
The Columbia Basin Trust serves the region consisting of all the watersheds that flow into the Columbia River in Canada and operates in the unceded traditional territories of the Ktunaxa, Lheidli T’enneh, Secwepemc, Sinixt and Syilx Nations.
“We’re putting together an amazing lineup of Columbia Basin performers to showcase throughout the festival,” says Sage McBride of Shred Kelly.
Sage has curated a lineup of entertainment that includes: Shred Kelly (Fernie), Heather Gemmell (Kimberley), Shayna Jones (Nelson), Maggie May Davis (Revelstoke), Ricky Diamonds (Golden), Tenise Marie (Kaslo), and Red Girl (Fernie) to name a few. Each performance will be around 5 minutes and highlight the amazing talent that calls the Columbia Basin home.

Valemount Comfort Inn and Suites – They’ll be going live on Tuesday, March 23rd at 10:00am Pacific. Hear from one of the newest hotels in Valemount, at the northern reach of the Rocky Mountain Trench, and get inspired for your next destination adventure.
Rocky Mountain Art Shop – Tune in live on Wednesday, March 24th at 10:00am Pacific. This is the official home of the The Golden Community Visual Arts Society, home to a vital, thriving and exciting group of artists.
Emerald Earth Organic Spa – Live, from Valemount, on Facebook this coming Tuesday, March 23rd at 4:00pm Pacific. Emerald Earth offers 100% handcrafted, organic, cruelty-free, eco-friendly, natural skincare products along with massage and spa services.
