Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park: Win Tickets
This year we’ve been celebrating the 130th anniversary of Vancouver’s original tourist attraction and during the holidays, nothing quite compares to Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. This illuminating winter festival runs from November 22, 2019 to January 26, 2020 with live music, scavenger hunts, sweet treats, luminescent forest pathways, and much more.
Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
- Where: Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
(3735 Capilano Road, North Vancouver) - When: November 22, 2019 to January 26, 2020 (closed Christmas Day)
11:00am to 9:00pm - Admission: Purchase online in advance or at the park. Canyon Lights tickets are valid all day with holiday activities beginning at 4:00pm.
Visit the world’s tallest living Christmas tree, enjoy hundreds of thousands of lights throughout the park including an illuminated Treetops Adventure, Cliffwalk, rainforest and canyon which will be transformed into a world of festive lights and visual enchantment.
Back by popular demand, go on a Snowy Owl Prowl, decorate gingerbread cookies (by donation) and sing-along carols with the holiday band.
Deals for Locals
Enjoying a winter staycation? Exploring your own backyard for holiday fun? For the price of one day’s regular admission, locals get a free annual pass to the park. The BC Residents Pass is good for up to one year from the date of your visit. It also grants you free entry to Canyon Lights. With this pass your guests also get 15% off admission. You can purchase the annual pass online or in person on the day of your visit. All you have to do is show a piece of valid BC ID with your address on it at the Bridge House or Guest Services.
Free Shuttle
Getting there is as easy as taking the free shuttle from Canada Place, available daily. Share your Capilano Suspension Bridge memories and stories by following and contributing to the tag #CanyonLights on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

I had never seen the lights at Capilano before. I was totally in awe at its beauty., and equally impressed at the tremendous effort and hard work involved in creating such an illumination. Also impressive was the quality of the goods sold in the gift shop. Congratulations to staff and Management for a wonderful venue. Oh! I should mention the hot chocolate and gingerbread treat which was a warm welcome on a chilly night.
