Canada’s WNBA team is coming to the West Coast this summer, with the Toronto Tempo hosting two regular season home games and a special fan event at Rogers Arena in Vancouver August 21-23, 2026.

The Tempo will face the Portland Fire on August 21 and the Las Vegas Aces on August 23, giving basketball fans in British Columbia the opportunity to experience WNBA action live as part of the team’s inaugural season.

Fans can also take part in Tempo Live, the team’s signature community celebration, at Rogers Arena on Saturday, August 22. The free event will feature interactive basketball activities, community clinics, exclusive merchandise and family-friendly programming for fans of all ages.

The two-game series continues the Tempo’s commitment to growing the game across Canada, building on the success of the team’s national debut and bringing the excitement of professional women’s basketball to communities from coast-to-coast-to-coast.

The Vancouver games follow the Tempo’s successful regular season showcase in Montreal, where the team set a new WNBA regular-season attendance record, with 20,996 fans in attendance, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to making Canada’s first WNBA franchise accessible to fans nationwide.
