Route | Road Closures

DJ O Show Vancouver Pride Parade

A tradition since 1978, over 100 local community groups, non-profit organizations, businesses, and more will be part of the parade this year.

Vancouver Pride Parade Grand Marshalls

Every year, Vancouver Pride honours individuals who represent the heart, history, and future of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Grand Marshals recognize the people whose dedication, courage, and leadership help move our community forward, from local acts of care and connection to global advocacy for equality and human rights. This year the parade will be led by Grand Marshal Sister Diversity Rains (she/her), Dan Wurzer (he/him), and International Grand Marshal Zhanar Sekerbayeva (she/her).

Vancouver Pride Parade Route, Schedule

The parade begins at Pacific Blvd, near BC Place where you can check out the Pride Pit Stop at the stadium’s Gate E with music and a DJ host for the first hour at 12:00pm then the parade emcee arrives to mingle with guests and introduce each parade entry as they go by starting at 1:00pm. For an extra charge; enjoy a selection of food and beverages from the team at BC Place. Entrance is free, donations to the Pride Society will be accepted.

The Roundhouse will serve as an Accessibility Hub, offering viewing zones, ASL interpretation, mask-mandatory areas for immunocompromised guests, senior-friendly seating, VocalEye audio description for blind and low-vision attendees, and a low-sensory indoor space for those needing a quiet break provided by Canucks Autism Network. Accessible entrances are available at Roundhouse Mews and Pacific Blvd, with accessible washrooms inside the centre.

The Vancouver Pride Parade then travels along Pacific Blvd to Howe Street. There will be no festivities at the end of the route on Howe, but make your way up to Davie Street where the party continues.

This iconic street festival is back as the grand finale of Vancouver Pride Weekend, bringing the community together for a vibrant, all-ages celebration of queer life, culture, and connection.
