Polygon Gallery presents free summer outdoor movies with an all sports theme on the waterfront in North Vancouver June 25 to August 27, 2026 during their popular Deckchair Cinema series.
Free Outdoor Sports Movies in North Vancouver
Admission to Deckchair Cinema, outside on the Cates Deck, is by donation courtesy of BMO Financial Group. The experience includes popcorn as well as access to the Gallery’s summer exhibitions Greg Girard (opening night: July 9), Simranpreeet Anand: Living with the Eternal, and James Harry: Eye of the Ancestor.
Hosted for 10 Thursdays, the screenings commence at sundown, and are complemented by music and entertainment leading up to curtain time. The event’s concession stand will offer food from Nook and drinks from Strathcona Beer Company. You’re encouraged to bring your own chairs, but some seating will be provided.
- Music starts, and the concession stand opens, at 7:00pm
- VIP Picnic Tables and Seats at Deckchair Cinema can be reserved by donating in advance.
