BC Entertainment Hall of Fame 2025 Nominations Open
byThe BC Entertainment Hall of Fame (BCEHOF) invites nominations for its 2025 StarWalk and StandingOvations inductions until April 14, 2025. The hall of fame honours over 300 inductees who have made a significant contribution to the performing arts, film and television, and radio broadcast arenas in the province.
2025 Nominations Open BC Entertainment Hall of Fame
Nominations to the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame can be made until April 14, 2025 by a group of individuals on behalf of a nominee who has made a significant contribution to the performing arts, film & television, and radio broadcast arenas in British Columbia.
Nominations are sought in BCEHOF’s two categories:
- Starwalk inductees are individuals with highly recognizable names who are known for their artistic excellence and high public profile in the entertainment industry – they receive a star on the sidewalk in the Granville Entertainment District in Downtown Vancouver.
- StandingOvations are individuals who are considered trailblazers of our industry and have left an indelible mark on BC’s entertainment landscape.
Nominations for 2025 are open now and can be made online for StarWalk and StandingOvations.
All applications will be reviewed against key criteria by BCEHOF’s nominating committee, which is composed of previous BCEHOF inductees as well as people actively involved in BC’s entertainment industry. The new class of inductees will be announced in the summer of 2025.
The BCEHOF’s Board of Directors has committed to a rigorous nomination procedure to streamline and align the awards process with other Hall of Fame organizations across North America. In addition, there will be a focus on the StandingOvations category to ensure those nominated in this group are recognized for their outstanding contribution to the performing arts in British Columbia.
