Invictus Games Village in Vancouver
byThe Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler kick off this weekend with an opening ceremony on Saturday at BC Place, followed by eight days of international competition. If you’re not in the sporting venues, the next best place to cheer on the teams and get into the Invictus spirit is at the Village in Vancouver.
The Vancouver Invictus Village at Vancouver Convention Centre and the Whistler Invictus Village (located in five areas throughout Whistler Village) will be the heart of the Games, featuring interactive exhibits, competitor meet-and-greets, live entertainment, medal celebrations, live action sport screens and more. All with free admission.
Invictus Games Village in Vancouver
The Vancouver Invictus Village will be located at the Vancouver Convention Centre (West) on the downtown waterfront. It will run daily from February 9–16 with booths and stage programming open 11:00am to 7:00pm with extended hours until 10:00pm on select dates for live broadcasts of sports finals.
The Village will feature interactive displays and activities by partners, live entertainment, games, competitions, giveaways and more. Food and beverage concessions will also be available. Access is free for everyone, there is no need to pre-book or get a ticket.
The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 is the first winter-hybrid Games, meaning six winter sports will feature for the first time in Invictus Games history. The new winter sports include: Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding, Nordic & Biathlon, Skeleton and Wheelchair Curling. These will feature alongside five core Invictus Games indoor sports including Indoor Rowing, Wheelchair Rugby, Wheelchair Basketball, Sitting Volleyball and Swimming.

About the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler
The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 celebrates the unconquered human spirit of military service members and Veterans who are wounded, injured, or sick. From February 8-16, 2025, over 500 of these heroes will travel from up to 25 different nations to Vancouver and Whistler for the first-ever Winter hybrid Games. These service members will compete in 11 different sports to support their journey of recovery with their family and friends cheering them on from the sidelines.
The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 will be held on the traditional territories of the Lil̓wat7úl (Líl̓wat), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. True Patriot Love Foundation, the Government of Canada, and the Province of British Columbia are the valued Founding Partners of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.
