Taylor Swift Tickets Raise Over $2 Million for Charities in Vancouver

The BC Place Community Benefit Program officially launched in October and saw a suite donated to four of the largest fundraising charity galas: the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Ball, the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation’s Vitality Gala, the Victoria Hospitals Foundation Visions Gala, and the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Crystal Ball. As a result of the donations, the BC Place Community Benefit Program has raised approximately $1.98 million to date, with some additional fundraising still to be reported.

This doesn’t include charities that raffled or auctioned off donated ticket as well. I was the winner of the raffle run by Good Night Out Vancouver, with donated tickets, that raised $10,000 for the small local charity – which made a huge impact! I was also at the Canuck Place Gift of Time Gala and the Courage To Come Back Awards this year where tickets or suites raised over $35,000 between those two events.

The BC Place Community Benefit Program empowers BC-registered charities to raise critical funds by leveraging the stadium’s unique assets. Details about the 2025 BC Place Community Benefit Program will be released in early 2025.
