As we welcome November, we’ve curated a list of seasonal culinary favourites, along with notable limited edition menus in Metro Vancouver. The Vancouver Eats feature this month also includes some Eras Tour experiences that you should reserve now. Vancouver Croissant Crawl

  • When: November 1st – 21st
  • Where: Vancouver Metro Area – including vendors in Burnaby, Richmond and Surrey for the first time
  • Details: Returning for the 3rd year, The Metro Vancouver Croissant Crawl is a self-guided tour of limited edition croissant flavours and creations at 35 participating vendors around Metro Vancouver November 1 – 21. Croissant lovers are invited to choose their favourite option and walk, bike or drive with friends from one bakery to the next to sample multiple special croissant offerings. Walk-in quantities are limited, and pre-orders are highly encouraged (available at most vendors) to avoid disappointment. Gluten free and plant based options are available starting this year! Glowbal Restaurant ‘GLOWBAL ERA’ Taylor Swift Themed Event

  • When: December 7th and December 8th
  • Where: 590 West Georgia St., Vancouver
  • Details: On Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th, Glowbal will give Taylor Swift fans a chance to come together on the garden patio space and immerse themselves in the music, fashion and style of a true icon with a special fan experience in the heart of the city – right by BC Place. The GLOWBAL ERA experience is available for brunch from 10:30am to 2:30pm for $49 per person plus tax and gratuity or Dinner from 2:30pm to 9:00pm for $79 per person plus tax and gratuity and includes:
    • Choice of one brunch or dinner entrée
    • Choice of cocktail or mocktail (Extravaganza, Revenge Bath or the Lavender Mist Empress Martini are a few of the themed options)
    • Bracelet making kit to wear and trade with fellow fans
    • Time with an onsite makeup artist with sparkles and jewels

Eras Tour Takeover at CRAFT Beer Market Vancouver

  • When: December 5th – 8th
  • Where: CRAFT False Creek located closest to BC Place (85 West 1st Ave., Vancouver) or CRAFT Beer Market English Bay (1795 Beach Ave., Vancouver)
  • Details: CRAFT Beer Market is excited to host a celebration for all Swifties in celebration of the Eras Tour coming to Vancouver. Starting one day before the concerts (December 5th), concert-goers can enjoy 13% off their bill at either CRAFT locations with the presentation of your Eras Tour ticket. You can also enjoy the limited-time only “Swifties French Blonde” cocktail with elderflower, lemon and gin – inspired by Taylor Swift’s favorite cocktail, while making free friendship bracelets. Eras Tour Events at BC Kitchen Sports Bar

  • When: December 5-8, 2024
  • Where: Parq Vancouver (next to BC Place) in the BC Kitchen
  • Details: There’s plenty of pre- and post-concert action to enjoy at BC Kitchen Sports Bar, starting with Swiftie Trivia Night to kick off the big weekend on Thursday, December 5 at 7:00pm where fans can test their knowledge and win swag packages; a live DJ set from 9:00pm to 2:00am on Friday, December 6; a Canucks & Karaoke event on Saturday, December 7 from 10:00pm to 2:00am; and a Karaoke Wrap Party to close out the weekend and keep the vibes going from 10:00pm to 2:00am on Sunday, December 8th.

Brunch Loooverrr

  • When: December 7-8, 2024
  • Where: Parq Vancouver (next to BC Place) in Honey Salt
  • Details: From 10:30am to 3:00pm on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th, fans can gather at Honey Salt for pre-concert brunch club meetings starring menu favourites served up with a side of Special Hits as well as Tableside Mimosa Carts that lets brunch loverrrrs build their own custom boozy or zero-proof libations to get geared up for the big show.

“The Little Mermaid” – A Drag Show

  • When: November 20th at 7:30pm (doors open at 6:30pm)
  • Where: Fanny Bay Oyster Bar & Shellfish Market at 762 Cambie St., Vancouver
  • Details: Fanny Bay Oyster Bar is excited to announce their “The Little Mermaid” drag show production by the epic team from SleepyQueers Productions. Explore an OceanWise themed menu while you become part of their world on November 20th. This one of kind collaboration will be an evening you won’t want to miss filled with incredible local drag performers, musical performances and sustainable seafood options. Winterlust Returns to H Tasting Lounge at The Westin Bayshore

  • When: November 1st – March 16th, 2025 (11:00am to 10:00pm reservation slots)
  • Where: 1601 Bayshore Dr., Vancouver (inside The Westin Bayshore hotel)
  • Details: The Hallmark-esque “Winterlust” domes by H Tasting Lounge are returning for the season. Winterlust consists of five private translucent domes, each of them decorated tastefully and seasonally with panoramic glass paneling. The domes also offer views of the North Shore mountains and Coal Harbour’s waterfront. Dishes include chili-caramel pork belly; certified Angus beef tomahawk with red wine jus, confit fingerling potatoes, sautéed garlic mushrooms and roasted root vegetables; a choice of four premium caviar services; a seafood tower or many dessert options.

The Ultimate Pad Thai Contest Returns

  • When: Starting November 7th
  • Where: Sen Pad Thai (1689 Johnston St., Vancouver) and Longtail Kitchen (810 Quayside Dr. Unit 116, New Westminster)
  • Details: For a second year in a row, Full House Hospitality is creating a delicious culinary rivalry between sister spots, Sen Pad Thai and Longtail Kitchen, where guests are invited to help choose the best Pad Thai dish. For 2 weeks, they are offering a limited-edition Pad Thai flavour at each restaurant and letting customers vote for their favourite. Sen Pad Thai’s feature is Pad Thai BBQ Pork Ribs ($24) and Longtail Kitchen’s is Pad Thai Chaiya ($21), featuring grilled tiger prawns and taro crisps. The grand prize for one guest who enters is a full year of Pad Thai, redeemable at both locations. A winner will be announced on socials on December 1st, 2024. Learn full contest details here.

Provence Marinaside’s New Autumn Dishes

  • When: Monday – Friday: 10:00am to 11:00pm and Saturday – Sunday: 9:00am to 11:00pm
  • Where: 1177 Marinaside Crescent, Vancouver
  • Details: At Provence Marinaside, Owner and Executive Chef Jean-Francis Quaglia marks the season by the addition of new, warming dishes to the menu while ‘retiring’ others until spring. Duck Duo (confit duck leg and seared duck breast accompanied by traditional lentils du puy along with savoy cabbage and a morel mushroom sauce), Half Chicken Provençal (served with sautéed kale, organic carrots, lemon jus and pommes frites) and the Butternut Squash Kale Salad (butternut squash, apple, King Cole blue cheese crouton, hazelnut and white balsamic vinaigrette) are just a few of the notable new dishes. Provence Marinaside also supports The Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre with the donation of meals and funds along with a donation option on their website should the public also wish to support the organization. Dockside Restaurant x Granville Island Brewing: Inaugural Brewmaster’s Dinner

  • When: November 23rd
  • Where: 1253 Johnston St., Vancouver
  • Details: Dockside Restaurant’s Executive Chef, Josef Driemel, and Granville Island Brewing’s Beer Sommelier, Fabricio Estacio, are coming together to create the inaugural Brewmaster Dinner event in an exciting new culinary series. On Saturday, November 23rd, the first Brewmaster’s Longtable Dinner happens at Dockside Restaurant in the Granville Island Hotel. The four-course menu includes beer-inspired West Coast cuisine, with each course thoughtfully beer-paired with seasonal Granville Island Brewing releases. Future collaborative dinners will spotlight other BC beer, wine and spirit producers and their offerings alongside Dockside’s globally influenced West Coast cuisine.

  • When: Starting November 1st
  • Where: 1535 Johnston St. Creekhouse #102 Granville Island, Vancouver
  • Details: Starting now join The Sandbar for their new Surf & Turf Sundays, every Sunday from 4:00pm. Indulge in a three-course dinner for two for just $129 or enjoy the platter solo for $105.
    • To Start: Choose between Sandbar’s Classic Clam Chowder or a Caesar Salad. Recommended Wine Pairing: Poplar Grove Pinot Gris – $13.75 for 6oz, $20.50 for 9oz or $55 for a bottle.
    • Main Course: Surf & Turf Platter featuring a 10oz prime New York striploin, lobster tail, grilled garlic prawns, seasonal vegetables, roasted potatoes and salsa verde. Recommended Wine Pairing: J Lohr Cabernet – $16 for 6oz, $24 for 9oz or $64 for a bottle.

New Quick Pick Lunch Menu at B House

  • When: Available Monday to Thursday from 11:30am to 3:00pm throughout November
  • Where: 2270 Commercial Dr., Vancouver
  • Details: Enjoy the new “Quick Pick” lunch menu at B House featuring six delicious options for just $15, starting November 1st. They are focusing on providing lunches at a great value, without compromising on taste and quality.
    • Papaya Salad with Lemongrass Chicken: Shredded green papaya, kale, carrot, basil-cilantro-mint mix, candied almonds, pickled ginger vinaigrette and boneless lemongrass chicken.
    • Banh Mi Style Sandwich: Lemongrass chicken, chicken pâté, daikon slaw, cucumber, jalapeño and chili lime aioli on a baguette.
    • Little Saigon Club: Beer-braised pork belly, chicken pâté, shredded lettuce, cucumber, tomato and house aioli on a baguette.

The Victor Cirque Pre-Show Menu

  • When: November through December 15th, Wednesday to Sunday from 5:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Where: Parq Vancouver Casino Resort, 39 Smithe St., Vancouver
  • Details: Enjoy a brand new Cirque-Inspired Pre-Show Menu at The Victor. The Supper Club Masquerade, the pre-show menu is available this November through December 15th, Wednesday to Sunday. Each course is a culinary performance, featuring vibrant flavours and creative presentations. Reservations are recommended and can be made online
    • Menu: THE MASQUERADE SUPPER CLUB for $75 a person.

  • When: Tuesday, November 12th at 6:30pm
  • Where: Coast Restaurant, 1054 Alberni St., Vancouver
  • Details: Coast Restaurant and CheckMate Artisan Winery have created a seasonal, multi-course menu celebrating the magic of CheckMate Winery for a special dinner this autumn. Renowned for producing some of the finest expressions from the Okanagan, this dinner features special guest James Berti, Membership and Guest Experience Manager, who will guide everyone through their wines.
