Vancouver Pride Parade 2024
Vancouver Pride takes on the Canada Pride Parade with over 100,000 attendees on Sunday of the August long weekend. Led by Host Nations, join local community groups, non-profit organizations, businesses and more all showcasing their support for the 2SLGBTQAI+ communities.

- 2:15pm Last float leaves the staging area at Davie & Denman
- 3:00pm Last float reaches the dispersal area at Pacific and Nelson
- Pride Festival is on at Concord Pacific Place at False Creek
Vancouver Pride Parade Route
This route, introduced in 2023, is flatter with fewer hills, more shade, and wider sidewalks. It’s 3.1km versus 2.7km with the old route. It allows for more accessible viewing areas for disabled communities. Additionally, it is closer to the Yaletown-Roundhouse Skytrain, improving transit accessibility. This change coincided with moving the festival site to end the parade at Concord Pacific Place.

- Denman from Haro to Burnaby 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Davie from Thurlow to Denman 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Pendrell from Denman to Bidwell 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Beach Ave from Burnaby to Jervis 11:00am to 3:30pm
- Pacific Blvd from Jervis o Nelson 11:00am to 3:30pm
- Pacific Blvd from Nelson to Carrall 10:00am to 4:00pm
Limited local resident access:
Thurlow St, Homer St, Drake St
No access (Emergency vehicles only)
Jervis St, Richards St, Nelson St.
Rideshare and Taxi drop-off zones:
- Start of Parade: North Side of Pendrell St. between Bidwell St. and Cardero St.
- Parade Route: North Side of Hamilton St. between Davie St. and Drake St.
- End of Parade: North Side of Pacific Blvd between Carrall St to Quebec St
Accessibility at the Parade
There are four accessible viewing zones along the Parade route. Registration is required.
ASL Interpreters: One accessible viewing zone will have ASL interpretation available at the accessibility seating viewing zone nearest to the Festival site at 777 Pacific Blvd (in front of BC Place).
Audio Description: Vocal Eye will be doing audio description at the accessibility seating viewing zone in front of Roundhouse Community Center (181 Roundhouse Mews). Registration is required to access this accessibility seating viewing zone. Register here.
Low Sensory Zone: There is a low sensory zone situated inside the Roundhouse Community Center in Room B on the main floor. It does not have a direct view of the parade route. This zone will have access to two water fountains and refilling stations, air conditioning and accessible toilets.
Van Pride Fest
The parade culminates at Van Pride Fest, which is happening Saturday and Sunday at Concord Pacific Place (between BC Place and Science World). The free outdoor festival will have a spectacular drag extravaganza on Saturday, August 3rd (12:00pm to 7:00pm) with local favorites, global drag stars, and a surprise takeover by Quill Collective. The TD Main Stage will be alive with Canada’s Drag Race royalty, Season 4 winner Venus, and other winners and alumni.
On Sunday the parade leads right into the festival site which will be open 12:00pm to 7:00pm. Headliner Rêve will be joined by LU KALA, Witch Prophet, NADUH, and BoiBnd. There will also be performances by local artists Toddy and Lola Lovegood. VIP Passes are available.
