Headliner Julie Kim is one of Canada’s top stand-up comedians. Kim has performed at all major Canadian comedy festivals including Just for Laughs Montreal, Just for Laughs Vancouver, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and Halifax Comedy Festival. She tours internationally and has been featured on CBC’s The Debaters and has received 3 nominations for writing and producing by the Canadian Academy in 2023. Julie Kim has contributed to the writing rooms of Kim’s Convenience, Run the Burbs, and Still Standing.
Feature act Syd Bosel is a stand-up comic and storyteller from Vancouver who can be heard on CBC’s Just for Laughs and Laugh Out Loud. Bosel has opened for Maria Bamford, Debra DiGiovanni, and Julie Kim. Syde Bosel has placed first in 2018 “BC’s Funniest New Female Comic”, was a finalist in the 2019 “Great Canadian Yuk Off”.
Emcee Rachel Schaefer from Vancouver, BC was featured on the JFL Originals album Yee-Haw Hell Yeah, CBC Gem’s New Wave of Stand Up, and CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud. Schaefer has acted in shows like Zoey’s Extrodinary Playlist, and Reginald the Vampire.
