BC Culture Days

Try something new! The Tri-Cities Culture Days weekend presents a unique interactive opportunity that invites the public to roll up their sleeves as they are welcomed to enter the behind-the-scenes world of artists, creators and historians. The events are fun, creative, family-friendly and free!

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, BC Culture Days has selected 10 emerging artists from across the province to act as cultural ambassadors in their respective communities, encouraging participation and presenting innovative activities across a broad spectrum of disciplines — including painting, animation, carving, poetry, theatre, and dance — as part of the weekend festivities.

The ultimate goal of Culture Days is to make arts, culture and heritage a part of every Canadian’s life, whether by creating, enjoying, supporting or sharing.

Coquitlam‘s three days of culture include film, the farmers market, a community quilt, and a music tour. In Port Coquitlam, you can check out reading, print-making, nature art, and Craftapalooza. Port Moody’s activities include poetry, a radio workshop, and more.
