Q1. What were your first impressions of Terrace?
ABBY: A thrilling destination. Terrace is a mountainous adventure hub nestled next to the coast that makes me giddy every time I hear its name.

Q2. Who was your best local resource for info?
ABBY: Terrace power couple, Brad and Kim Zeerip own and operate Skeena Riverhouse’s B&B, but that’s certainly not all. Two of the most outdoor world connected folk in town Brad and Kim know where the snow stashes are and just about everything else in Terrace!

Q3. What did you find most surprising/unexpected?
ABBY: Fishing in winter, who knew?! Our guide Rob Bryce lead us to the most serene fishing spot for a peaceful morning on the river. The crisp air and white snow was the perfect way to start the day.

Q4. What is a can’t-miss in Terrace?
ABBY: Shames Resort. Known as one of the snowiest places on earth you cannot do Terrace with out a visit to Shames!

Q5. What was the most Instagram-worthy moment or place?
ABBY: Sunrise from the Skeena Riverhouse. Kim and Brad serve a hot breakfast as the sun lights up the valley and flowing Skeena river. Inside or out, you’ll be impressed with the show.

Q6. What would make you go back again and again?
ABBY: SNOW. There’s just so much of it consistently that you’re guaranteed a good time on the slopes of Shames.
