byThe Richmond World Festival returns for its third year, attracting over 35,000 people to Minoru Park for two days of free family fun. The festival celebrates Richmond’s cultural diversity though music, food, sport and art from around the world, featuring over 75 artists on nine stages!

John and I go every year and it’s such a fantastic way to spend a day. There are so many performers, cultural pavilions, and food options. It’s also really easy to get to the grounds from the Canada Line, just walk over from Richmond Centre.

All the way from South Korea, k-Pop star Verbal Jint headlines the expanded Friday night and Canada’s own Tokyo Police Club and Dragonette perform on Saturday alongside an eclectic lineup of cultural performances, dance troupes, buskers, chefs and more.
Savour snacks from over 40 food trucks in the FEASTival of Flavour, watch demos on the Culinary Stage and at the Wide World of Sports. Visit Cultural Pavilions and travel the world. Proud participants can share their heritage with visitors through different Cultural Exhibition activities.
From an exhibition table in the heart of the Global Village, to the welcome Ceremony, traditional dances on the main stage, or simply wearing colourful national clothes during the festival, you will find a lively cultural experience.
