Consisting of 21 awards in six categories, the Awards of Excellence celebrate excellence in achievements that benefit all of us by making Vancouver a greener, healthier, more diverse, accessible, and prosperous city.

Categories include Civic Volunteer, Greenest City Leadership, Healthy City for All, Diversity and Inclusion, Accessible City, and Business Innovation.

Individuals and businesses are eligible along with organizations consisting of non-profit groups or service clubs, educational institutions, hospitals, government departments, unions, professional and trade associations, media organizations, and public or private corporations.

The deadline for nominations is April 4th, a peer panel will be complete May 2nd, and a final selection will be made by Vancouver City Council May 12th. An awards ceremony will follow June 23rd.
