Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2013
byVancouver Craft Beer Week (“VCBW”) returns for the fourth year May 31 to June 8, 2013 with over 60 participating breweries and 30 venues celebrating craft beer for 9 days straight. Tickets were recently released and events are already selling out – within hours.
If you’re planning on checking out the Vancouver Craft Beer Week action this year, act fast. There are 9 signature events, 6 feature events, 6 walk-up events, and so much more I won’t be able to list everything. We’ve attended various VCBW events each year and they are always well organized, educational, and safe to say – delicious. Familiarize yourself with new brews and venues or re-visit your favourites. Visit any Donnelly Group Public House and purchase an All or Nothing passport for only $6 (includes your first sleeve) during Vancouver Craft Beer Week. This will allow you to start your crawl and from there, each Donnelly Pub location will be offering a special selection from Ninkasi Brewing. Try the different beers at each location, collecting a passport stamp at each venue. Once you’ve completed the tour everyone is invited to the Donnelly Group All or Nothing Pub Crawl VCBW after-party on Sunday, June 9th 5:00pm to 1:00am, where they can submit the completed Passport to enter to win a trip to the Ninkasi Brewery. 400 Passports available.
DOCKSIDE BREWING COMPANY
In celebration of Vancouver’s Craft Beer Week, the Dockside Brewing Company and Granville Island Hotel are offering their six-pack beer flight at a special price of $9 (regular $14) from May 31st to June 8th in their Lounge, open Tuesday through Thursday 5:00pm to 11:00pm, and 5:00pm to 12:00am on Fridays and Saturdays. No reservations required, special price is offered in the lounge and lounge patio only.

Oh, to be in Vancouver right now! Not Just for the beer (tho’ I must admit that would be the main attraction here) but for the scenery. I’ve lived on the island, in some places so beautiful I could cry – though don’t because I want to keep my eyes clear and see everything. Friends living in Vancouver say they love it much for the same reasons.
A world-class city AND a great beer fest! I’m drooling and missing B.C. now.
