Bellingham Whatcom County Getaway
bySchool is back in session but the summer sun continues to shine on the Pacific Northwest. With a strong Canadian dollar and plenty of places to spend it across the border, more and more locals are checking out our neighbours to the south in Whatcom County.
Whatcom County consists of Point Roberts, Bellingham, Blaine, Chuckanut Drive, Lummi Island, Birch Bay and more. There’s much more to it than Target and Trader Joe’s. You can go on a wine tour, check out the local farmers market, do a bike tour, visit a cultural food festival… and that’s all just in September.
I recently contacted their tourism organization to come up with a unique giveaway for my readers so that they can explore more in Whatcom County.

I love the quaint seaside area in Bellingham! So gorgeous!
I would love to explore Bellingham because too often, I drive right through!
Great spot, totally under rated.
i would like to explore because it would make my wife very happy!
Bellingham is a place that is so close but I haven’t really explored it much! It would be great to have the chance to enjoy a few days there and have the time to see what’s around there!
This hotel looks gorgeous! Normally, when we go to the Bellingham area we aren’t there overnight so it would be nice to enjoy a gorgeous hotel, some good eats and a theatre show 🙂
I would like to spend some time at the nearby Larabee State Park.
I discovered a beautiful quaint little area of Bellingham called Fairhaven.
I would love to go back there to enjoy & walk around the area, have lunch, smell the flowers and hopefully check out the farmers market while I’m there.
That would be a wonderful date night idea- dinner, theater, overnight stay and a nice drive up along Chukanut and around the bay. With the chaos of back to school, my wife certainly could use a getaway…
I’d love to take the time to explore Bellingham, rather than stopping at Trader Joe’s then driving right through!
We love to getaway to Bellingham to seek all the special things it has to offer, such as being close to the ocean (Crabbing is at its prime right now!), Trader Joe’s and all the other fun stores we don’t get here in Canada. Wine is cheap, and the food is fab. I love Bellingham!!
Wow, I didn’t even know such a cute hotel existed!
i’d love to explore anything seaside and that hotel looks amazing!
I would love to win this getaway as we weren’t able to get away for a summer vacay this year and the hubby and I are desperate for a night away! Bellingham is beautiful and I haven’t spent any time there in years!
This hotel looks amazing!
We absolutely love going to Bellingham! Visit Boundary Bay Brewing at least once a month and have ofter wished to stay over night but never have.
My wife and I love cycling and running through all of the great trails and roads of the Bellingham area. Perfect spot for Olympic distance triathlon training!
i never really “explore” bellingham- i only go to bellis fair and costco so this would be nice
I admit that although I drive through there all the time, I don’t know what Bellingham has to offer. sounds like a great get away!
I tweeted http://twitter.com/#!/carolem/status/111950634508488704
Because it is always fun to try something new!!
Wow, less than an hour away and so much to do. And, so different from the Vancouver area. What a great getaway!
I love the Bellingham area but rarely stop to enjoy – always heading further south! Always wanted to stay at this gorgeous hotel!
Sounds like an awesome weekend!
Always a treat to step out of your comfort zone, We need to try new places and things, just when I thought I knew everything about the Bellingham area !
I love Bellingham and would love to see it through visiting eyes instead of my husband living there for a bit (about a year). I’d love to stay at a hotel instead of an apt 😉
Boundary Bay has the best pulled pork nachos. mmm.
All towns/cities have their own special personality but of most times people just pass through or make a quick pit stop without discovering it’s charm. I’d like to know the side of Bellingham that’s not Bellis Fair or Trader Joes. It has an old downtown area where I’ve stopped for lunch before but I know there’s even more to discover!
I would love to check out Bellingham more. I had one of the best Mexican food meals I’ve ever had there and would like to spend more time enjoying the activities it has to offer.
I know nothing else about Bellingham other than Bellis Fair, would be good to explore.
I’m not to the West Coast and haven’t had a chance to explore Washington yet! Would love the chance.
I would love to use Bellingham as a base for exploring Lummi Island.
Haven’t been to Bellingham since a high school trip to Bellis Fair in 199something. It would be interesting to explore it as an adult.
This hotel looks so cozy! We always rip down the I5 on our way to Seattle. Bellingham sounds like a lovely spot to take a breather. The pictures remind me of some up island communites on Vancouver Island.
I passed by there so many times on my way to my exams, but have not had time to explore the area.
I’ve been down to Bellingham several times, but sadly, I’ve never ventured beyond the Bellis Fair area on Meridian. There has to be more to see than just that one street, right? 🙂
I love downtown Bellingham, and would love to re-explore/continue exploring the area!
We would love to visit Bellingham this fall! It would be a beautiful time to visit the parks and many hiking trails in the area.
I like to hang out in downtown Bellingham for its pretty small town feel. There’s a good taco truck near the Toyota dealership too.
I’ve been over the border many times but always on the way to a more southern city. It’d be nice to stop and explore Bellingham since I’ve gone by it so many times.
I’d love to check out their seaside community! It looks fabulous and relaxed.
I’d always wanted to go when I was a kid but never got the chance.
A wonderful opportunity to explore the original business district, and the waterfront area.
I’d love to see more of bellingham. The most I normally do there is shop.
Love to visit Bellingham!
I would love a little getaway, not a common happening in my life these days, thanks for the chance!! Love your blog 😉 (really, even if i don’t win!)
This place looks gorgeous! Even though i’ve never been there, from the picture this place looks like paradise! XD I would love to go there with my girlfriend!
I’d want to go on a wine tour with my boyfriend!
I’d love to stay at the Bellwether. We’ve spent time at the Chrysalis nearby and it was great too!
I love all the old preserved buildings in both downtown Bellingham and in Fairhaven. For me, an added delight is the many second hand bookshops in both locations. And a wonderful new Art Gallery in downtown Bellingham.
Mmmmm, time for a trip!
Bellingham is so close & cute – always meant to spend more time poking around Fairhaven.
Would love to go on a quick get away!
The Bellwether looks absolutely amazing! I would love to explore Bellingham!
It would make a nice quick getaway during the school year. I always just drive through Bellingham but I would love the chance to explore!
I would love to explore Bellingham!
I would like to explore Bellingham because it would be a great first anniversary gift for my wife. We’d have an amazing place to stay (yay for us) after going to the Brew Pub (yay for me) before going to the show (yay for her). We both have enjoyed the vibe when I’ve dragged her down for some ice cream @ Mallard’s and to be on the actual coast would make it such an oasis after she worked 7 days straight OT to make up for me not working. Somehow, she keeps me around and by providing her with some away time from what’s going on right now, I’d be able to show her how much I love that she doesn’t give up on me. I apologize for the sappiness but I had to put it out there. I’m so amazed that she said ‘yes’ when I proposed and then she said ‘I do’ again last year (and a few days). So, to return the favour and show her a little slice of Bellingham by the sea would be wonderful.
I would love to explore Bellingham because it is the location of Mount Baker
Wow – I would love to explore Bellingham! I haven’t ever spent time there – and it’s so close!
Bellingham is a nice quaint town and would love to explore it more. Nice getaway from the comparative bustle of Vancouver. 🙂
I’ve never been there and would love to explore !
I like to spend some of my hard earned Cdn$ in the USA!!!
Have never left BC and would love to go on to Bellingham! Get away from the busy life, relax and enjoy.
I’ve never been to Bellingham, and I just renewed my passport so this would be perfect!
i often drive past Bellingham but never really stopped and explored it. this would e the perfect opportunity to experience it.
Ive been through Bellingham a few times but never spent the night! I believe truly knowing a city is staying there at least overnight and experiencing the sights, tours and just plain getting out of your car! Doing an activity makes a trip soo much more enjoyable! Even if its more expensive ! I would love to see the real Bellingham.
I’d love to go, as it’s been years since I’ve been there.
I have never explored Bellingham but have always wanted to pull off the i5 when heading to Seattle and
This would be the perfect opportunity!
I have heard there are some good trials to walk or bike in this area.
We usually pass it on our way to some place else. So it would be nice to stop and explore.
It’s a place I’m always going through and it’d be lovely to actually spend some time there.
I have shopped there many times but not done anything else. This would be fun!
I love Bellingham! My husband and I are constantly finding new places to explore there, and it would be great to stay overnight after enjoying some microbrews!
Bellingham is one my my favourite spots to visit. The old district of Fairhaven is beautiful and I would love to explore more of the area!
So I can get the chance to explore an area in Bellingham that isn’t the mall 🙂
I always wanted to spend a little bit more time in Bellingham other than shopping or working. This will be an awesome opportunity!
I’ve never been down to Bellingham! Would love the opportunity (and the excuse!) to get down there and explore 🙂
I love wandering around the streets of Bellingham! I’d love to walk around more of the lakeshore and go on a hike or two!
There’s more to explore than the malls
I drove through Fairhaven last month to get to the train station and that neighbourhood is now on my to-explore areas. It’s just so quaint!
Thanks for hosting this contest!
I have never stayed at Bellingham and would love to visit and explore the city.
I’ve never actually been, but I’ve heard it’s a great town to explore! I love finding new places, near and far, to expand my world!
Discovering great new places close to home is always fantastic – sounds like Bellingham deserves some more attention from us!
Would love to explore more of Bellingham – I’m guilty of only going for Target and Trader Joe’s like you said! lol. Plus we’re getting married in less than a month and the stress has been ridiculous. A night away is much needed!
Normally I visit Belingham to tend to my American mailbox (cheap shipping, ya!) and I’m back in Canada within the hour. I’d love to spend some time there, the hotel looks amazing!
Never stayed in Bellingham only shopping for the day. It would be nice to stay the night and see what else the city has to offer.
It’s the perfect place to reconnect with my hubby!!
You’re right, I’ve never really thought of Bellingham as anything other than a quick shopping outpost that’s closer than Seattle. Or a rest stop. Past forays into areas of the city off the beaten track have left us curious, but we’ve never really explored it as we felt we should have. It’d be nice to have a reason to skip the same old stuff that keeps us from getting to know the real Bellingham, and maybe get us there more often!
That looks amazing, I would love to go to Bellingham for other reason than shopping!
I really enjoy Bellingham. We makefrequent day trips there but would welcome an opportunity to explore a little longer.
Last time I was in downtown Bellingham, it was to see Loreena McKennitt at the local theatre, which was absolutely beautiful!! Very old, I think. We also stumbled across a pub/bar that was serving pizza with homemade vegan cheese. I’d love to have the time to explore the area a little more!
I love avoiding customs brokerage fees by going to a drop-box service on that side of the border.
i would love to explore bellingham because everytime i go, my trips consist of shopping and eating.
I would love to take a girlfriend for a weekend of fun as I’ve been neglecting my gf’s – I just got married and my new husband and I also just moved into our new apartment – first time homeowners so that was an ordeal and a half! And with the wedding and honeymoon and family visits, I could really use some girl time!!! This prize pack you’ve put together looks amazing. What a fun weekend that would be. Thanks Miss604!
Exploring Bellingham would be a unique experience. Did you know that Hillary Swank grew up in a trailer park near Lake Samish? Interesting. Would love a chance to check that out.
I would love to explore bellingham because often I drive right through wondering what’s there.
What a great give-away idea! I never even stop to shop Bellingham because I’m always on route to somewhere else. What a great opportunity this would be to check out and enjoy what lies just beyond our border!
Sometimes the best little getaways are right in our backyard. This is one of them, & definitely like to see more of Bellingham than just Bellis Fair!
I would love a chance to stay overnight at the Hotel Bellwether. There’s so much to see in Bellingham.
beautiful city and i’d love to do some shopping!
I would love a quick getaway with my husband while our 2-year-old son spends some quality time with his grandparents!
I’ve been meaning to visit the American Museum of Radio & Electricity in Bellingham for ages! This would be a great way to do it.
I’ve love to get away with my wife to Bellingham. She’s a great wife and a wonderful mom, she deserves a little get away.
would love to be able to explore Bellingham, I’ve just recently moved from the east coast and would love an opportunity to explore what our neighbouring state has to offer.
Normally we just drive straight through Bellingham, or stop at the Mall. It would be really nice to actually stop over night! The Hotel looks awesome, and a mini break would be just the thing before the weather turns rainy again 🙂
Because it’s in our backyard so would be cool to check the city out.
We’ve been meaning to explore Bellingham beyond Target & Trader Joe’s ever since some friends spent a weekend there and can’t stop raving about it! It was our anniversary this week but we were both too busy to stop and celebrate – so this would be the perfect excuse to raise a glass to 9 years of wedded bliss 😉
I would love to explore Bellingham because I know there is more than Trader Joe’s and Target, but I never seem to have enough time to see the rest!
for the SHOPPING! and maybe the casino too.
I would love to explore Bellingham in more depth. All I’ve ever done there is go shopping! I’m sure that there is a lot more to see and do.
I would love to win this!! I haven’t spent nearly enough time in Bellingham… but would definitely love to!!
Sounds like a great weekend! Lots to discover, such a nice setting right by the water, and not too far away!
I would love to see explore Bellingham. There must be more there than just Trader Joes and Target.
Bellingham seems so peaceful and quiet, I would love to explore this part of it 🙂
Bellingham is so overlooked, since it seems everyone heads straight for Seattle.
I would love to explore Bellingham! I really don’t know much about it except for Bellis Fair and Target.
I can’t believe such a gorgeous place exists right in our backyard and we’ve never taken the time to explore it! We usually drive right through it and continue on to the Premium Outlets, Seattle, or even Portland. Would love a chance to explore Whatcom County.
I love Bellingham! It’s right next door but when I’m there, it’s like I’m a world away…
I would love to have a roadtrip to Bellingham! My lovely boyfriend is returning next week from Alberta and I would love to whisk him away on an adventure. Looks beautiful!
I want to win so that I can get away from home
i have never explored bellingham and would love the opportunity!
Would love to take my wife up to Bellingham and reminisce about our time at WWU! Love Boundary Bay and all of the great shops and places to eat throughout B’ham and Fairhaven.
There’s my excuse to hit Trader Joe’s.
My wife loves
My wife loves shopping down there. We would love to spend a more leisurely day exploring.
What a nice, quick getaway!
It would be great to explore bellingham because it’s so close to home!

My girlfriends are coming to visit, and winning this package would allow us to have a “girlfriends getaway” in Bellingham. We could book a second room, and pick up another two tickets to the theatre. We’ll have dinner at Boundary Bay Brewery, and get gelato at Chocolate Necessities. This overnight stay gives us a chance to shop, talk, relax, and really enjoy each other’s company. Thank you for making this opportunity possible! It is much appreciated!
I want to check out Chuckanut Drive!! I hear it’s gorgeous! (That, and my bf and I had our first date at BB Brewing back in 2003)
It is so close! I’d love to see more!
Bellingham, with all its poetry and balance, the sea, the wonder of an original Boundary Bay IPA, the Bellweather hotel with it’s ambiance and mystery, is all the reason in the world for an idyllic journey, one I would forever embellish and dream of….ever more.
Summer was just not long enough. It would be great to have a relaxed weekend down in Bellingham.
My wife & I have Nexus passes and have visited Bellingham & Boundary Bay Brewpub many times but have never stayed overnight. Would love the chance to hoist a few Old Bounders and see more of what must be the best kept scret in the Northwest
It looks beautiful….I’d love to check it out!
I would love to relax in Bellingham.
Shopping in Bellingham
I’d love to go and explore the sites. Wanna see Mount Baker up close
One of the best things to explore in Bellingham are all the second hand clothing stores. With Halloween coming up these stores are a gem when trying to put together a costume.
I’ve only been to Bellis Fair and the airport so would be great to explore Bellingham.
I would love to go see bellingham; often driven through never explored. I would love to do some relaxing at the beach, followed by some shopping!
Would love to win this! We love Whatcom County! So many things to do, see, eat and drink there! We don’t usually have much time there as we are quite often passing through! Oh, and we love Boundary Bay Brewing!!!
I drive to Bellingham very often, having the Nexus Pass allows me to cross faster.
Best tacos in town are at La Gloria, authentic Mexican, salsas to die for (if u like spicy).
Last weekend visited the Fairheaven area, beautiful.
Would love to win and get the chance to stay for a weekend and visit all the other great places around Bellingham!!
I haven’t been south of the border in what feels like 20 years (outside of airports) and I’d love a reason to go check it out!
https://twitter.com/#!/imheckifiknow/status/112681581507903488
I’d love to experience this package as I haven’t been down to Bellingham in maybe…. 15 years? Now I feel old!
Life’s been crazy lately. I need this!
never been would love to go!
Perfect for a short getaway while the little ones are still nearby with the grandparents!
I’ve never been and would love to check it out!
would love to spend some time in Bellingham.
There is so much to see and do in Bellingham. It is so close to us it is a nice weekend adventure.
I’d love to explore the area, try some good local food and try some of their beautiful mountain bike trails.
I’d love to explore Bellingham because I’d love to check out what it has to offer!
Bellingham is a beautiful town right on the ocean. I would love to stay over night and explore its old and historic places.
https://twitter.com/imheckifiknow/status/113038660202536960
It’s an interesting place, and has an interesting history thar few know about.
I would love to explore Bellingham because it looks absolutely beautiful, and it sounds like a fun adventure!
It has been so long since I’ve been to Bellingham I forget what it’s like. I’d love to find out what is around and explore with my boyfriend. Thanks for the chance!
Would love to explore more of the city beyond shopping at Bellis Fair. Seen a glimpse of the downtown so it would be great to see more.
Looks gorgeous! It would be nice to explore Bellingham!
Very nice! I usually drive through Bellingham and have never stayed the night there. It would be fun to stay overnight somewhere new.
I would love to explore the buildings around Bellingham ~ they are very interesting to look at and I would love to take pictures of the city and buildings.
We’re always on a mission when going to Bellingham, sometimes I think my husband likes to see how quickly we can go there and back. Having the opportunity to spending the night and explore would be neighbourly and fun!
I’m planning a trip south, and would love to make this a stop on the journey!
I’m a big fan of Bellingham. I normally only go there for day trips. It would be great to stay overnight and explore more of the city.
Have never really explored Bellingham which we usually just pass by on the way to Seattle or Portland. Would love to actually spend some time exploring the area.
Bellingham is so close, but it seems like you just pass through it on the way to somewhere else. It would be fun to explore somewhere that is usually just an afterthought
I would love to explore Bellingham because I’ve never been!
This would be a very special and romantic prize for me to spend with my boyfriend for his birthday that’s coming up!
I love exploring new places – it would be great to be able to experience Bellingham 🙂
I’ve never toured around Bellingham. I moved out here a few years ago and still haven’t explored all the area yet. Would be a perfect opportunity to spread my wings and check out the beautiful North West
I would love to cross the line and get to know our neighbours a bit. A romantic getaway with my boyfriend is long overdue too!
I’ve never been to Bellingham and would love to visit.
I would love to explore more of Bellingham as I’ve heard it has a lot of really nice areas, and though I’ve been to Fairhaven and down the Chuckanut, I haven’t seen much more than that.
We like to go walking around the marina. Always wondered what that hotel was like.
It would be great to visit Bellingham, as it looks like a great place and I haven’t been there in many, many years. Lots of changes since the last time I was there for sure.
I would love an easy weekend gettaway and Bellingham would be perfect.
This place looks incredible! I’d love the chance to have some R&R without going to far from home!
Bellingham would be a great place for a weekend getaway. Would love to explore Bellingham and take pictures of the beautiful scenary.
Great chance to stop and explore rather than drive through to Seattle
I’ve never had a chance to stop in Bellingham – we always go right through & every time I think – next time we’ll have more time & we’ll stop
Looks like fun!!
This hotel and location in Bellingham looks wonderful – would love to enjoy this getaway with my hubby!
the bellingham waterfront area is great.. love ..love …love it.
It would be a fantastic getaway – not too far away, but far enough away. I am also intrigued by how different things can be, just by crossing that border!
we’re neighbors anyway. .love to win this!
I would love to win because I have never stayed overnight in Bellingham, the hotel looks great and I would love to go shopping there.
tweeted http://twitter.com/#!/cotec007/status/113826597043318784
I am a New Zealander new to Vancouver and am loving all the weekend excursion opportunities so close by! I’d love to explore Bellingham for the weekend – it looks so pretty!
my best friend constantly raves about how wonderful it is there, but the one time I went- i didn’t see much of anything. I’d love the chance to explore it a little bit better 🙂
Bellingham has changed so much since I went there on the way to Birch Bay as a kid. I’d love to be able to spend some time there (rather than hop in for food on the way to Seattle).
I’m sure there’s more to it than just outlet malls. I’d love to explore the real attractions.
Here are some gems of Bellingham i’ve been lucky enough to find and would be great for this field trip: make the most of the day and be driving up to the Old Town Cafe in time for breakfast. Wander the Saturday Farmer’s Market, definitely one of the best around. stock up on picnic supplies at the Community Co op (puts Trader Joe’s to shame:)) and head down the beautiful seaside Chuckanut Drive. Take in the view at The Woods Coffee and walk latte in hand along the boardwalk, or while perusing the shelves at the amazing Village Books in Fairhaven. to REALLY indulge, book a massage at the Chysalis Inn on the waterfront; it’s surprising such a stunning place remains somewhat secret. Less picturesque, (in a strip mall:)) but another must-do is the Miang Kum appetizer at On Rice Thai Restaurant. Now i’m craving it and driving down for lunch is under serious consideration:).
I go to Bellingham often but just to shop..I would love to go in the morning, spend the day exploring and stay the night at the hotel bellwether!
I have not been to Bellingham for years and your picture look amazing! I could really do with a stay in a hotel!
Bellingham looks wonderful but I’ve only been through to drive to Seattle. I would love a chance to stop and smell the roses!
Love B-ham & Old Fairhaven. BB Brewery has always been one of my favourites. We’ve camped at Larabee State Park a few times but it would be wonderful to stay in a hotel! Thanks for the great contest.
I love visiting Bellingham! It has so much to offer in not only great shopping deals, but the cozy seaside village appeal of its waterfront. Everytime I’m near the ocean I feel like I’m miles from home and on a mini-cation!
Your entry on your Bellwether stay opened my eyes to even thinking about Bellingham as a stayover destination rather than a along-the-way location.
Bellingham has more than Bellis Fair to explore! What a great prize. & so close to home
A close weekend getaway! The seaside looks neat, all i’ve done is gone by bellisfair so it would be fun to explore Bellingham!
Looks and sounds amazing!
Bellingham is a great place to visit so close to home. I would love to check out this quaint property and discover more of Bellingham.
I’ve only ever driven through Bellingham, would be nice to stay and explore.
My wife and I could use a getaway!!
My girlfriend deserves a vacation.
We absolutely love Bellingham but only really discovered how charming it is recently. There’s so much to see and do and we’ve barely scratched the surface. We also LOVE the antique markets there – quite fascinating. And hey, tomorrow is my birthday and our anniversary is next week. A vacation would be lovely!
A friend of mine lives in Bellingham but I haven’t seen him since March! Reunite us, would you?
I’ve heard Bellingham is a great place to bike, also my partner lives in Seattle and we don’t see each other nearly enough, something like this would be a fantastic treat for us!
Bellingham rocks! They have one of the best communities of sustainable business going.
This is just the kind of quick getaway I could go for right now! We have such lovely communities like Bellingham so near to us, but don’t take advantage of them often enough. Send me!
wow, never been to the states befroe. Would be nice
I just went to Bellingham for the first time this summer although it was just a daytrip. I would love to return and stay long this time!!
I just want to take my wife on a sweet date where she can leave the kids and be a grownup for an evening!
I would love to take my wife down for a night away from our lovely kids. We have only had 1 night away from both kids in 3 years. My wife has had to deal with a fair bit in the last year. She had to change jobs. We were scheduled for a two night get-a-way but had to cancel as her mother need open heart surgery. I work mostly nights so she has to deal with the kids, school and sports activities. So think this would be a nice get-a-way for her. I am hoping to win even though it will cost me more money as my wife likes to shop in the states whenever othe odd chance arrives.
For the longest time, the only thing that Bellingham brought to mind was outlet stores and malls. Ugh! Then my wife and I stumbled upon Fairhaven, a quaint community full of heritage. There’s a whole lot more to Bellinghmam, and we’d love to explore some more.
I usually drag my husband to Bellingham for shopping. I didn’t know there was a lovely quaint are of Bellingham to see. I think my husband deserves a trip that doesn’t involve shopping. Well maybe a little shopping. How can I resist.
I would love to explore Bellingham for it’s beautiful parks, hikes and it’s wonderful beer!
I’ve never spent time in Bellingham and would love to check it out! My wife and I could really use the vacation!
It’s interesting that Bellingham is being pitched as much more than Target and Trader Joe’s because I only ever visit to shop. It would be great to check out the area apart from the mall.
School is already so intense and I need a night away!
Recently got Nexus … Haven’t been able to try it … Hoping crossing over to Bellingham will be
painless 🙂
I would love to have a short get-away to Bellingham so that we could bring our bikes and check out the local markets. The brewery looks great too!
Great weekend getway!
A great little place. Great shopping…would like to discover more of the city.
I would love to visit bellingham for the shopping of course! muahahaha
I wanna try walking along the beaches and see if its any different from the ones we have here!
Never tried fishing there! Pretty sure it’d be sweet!
I’ve just had surgery on my leg and would love a little getaway to get my mind off things!
Beautiful area so close to Vancouver that I have wanted to check out more. Would make a wonderful anniversary trip with my wife.
I always drive THROUGH Bellingham en route to Seattle, but have never had the opportunity to explore the city. This would be a great opportunity to do so!
Only ever been there to catch an allegiant flight! This time I’ll go, relax, explore Bellingham and thennnnnnnn head to Sin City!
Sounds like a perfect short getaway for my wife and I, a weekend away to ourselves to relax, enjoy the markets, the seaside, and do NO SHOPPING.
Would love to spend some time in Bellingham, instead of just driving through on my way to somewhere else!
This would be a great mini vacay!
I need a vacay so bad!
i looove exploring new places and travelling. but i’ve never been to bellingham cuz i haven’t found anyone to go with.. 🙁 so i definitely wanna explore the city, the shops, restaurants, and the tourist attractions.
I would love to take my mom who is coming from the Maritimes for a night away.
This looks amazing! We would love to win!
In the past I have overlooked Bellingham and opted to visit Seattle instead. I would love to check out all that Bellingham has to offer.
denimc{at}gmail{dot}com
It looks like a great place for a weekend getaway!
Bellingham is like that neighbour you always see around but for some reason or another never find the time to stop and say ‘hi’ to. For once I’d love to stop in rather than drive by
Great place to chillax……not too far from Vancouver and yet close enough to feel you’re living in a small city away from the hustle and bustle…..Bellingham…home away from home….
I always just drive through bellingham…would be nice to stop and check it out 🙂
I love Bellingham and the surrounding area, great get away!
It’d make a great birthday present for me!
Would love to explore Bellingham besides the mall!!
