Vancouver History: Before and After Part Six
byThis is now the sixth week of my Before and After photo series. I was a bit stumped this morning when trying to think of a theme so I just started typing random search words into the City Archives photo database.
What I ended up with was a small collection of points of interest and touristy landmarks throughout the City (and on the North Shore). Enjoy!…
Capilano Suspension Bridge
1917
View from Prospect Point
1913
2009
Stanley Park Hollow Tree

Amazing photos! You’re like a little investigator digging through the archives 🙂 Check out the “Then & Now” post on Capilano Suspension Bridge that was inspired by you. http://capbridgeviews.com/2009/08/31/capilano-suspension-bridge-then-and-now/
What, no photos of the Hallow tree as it stands today? I still think they shouldn’t have wasted the money by trying to put it upright. It’s more metal than wood now. *le sigh*
LOVE IT!
