National Cupcake Day is cross-country event presented by the BC SPCA, the Ontario SPCA and participating humane societies. This year, Cupcake Day falls on Monday, February 26th (the last Monday of February), but animal lovers and bakers are encouraged to fundraise throughout January and February.

Join the 12th annual Take a Hike Foundation Moonlight Snowshoe this February to support a fantastic cause. This is your chance to be part of an intimate and inspiring evening, alongside Take a Hike’s students and staff, on an evening of guided snowshoeing under the moon.

Continuing a heartwarming yuletide tradition for the 16th consecutive year, staff at the Kingsway Vancouver and Richmond Centre White Spot locations will donate their time and tips on Christmas Day to support local charities.

This season, you can give to the Cuso CAN Fund, which supports Cuso International’s high priority maternal and child health projects in Ethiopia, Benin, Nigeria, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Now in its 7th year, the Whalley Santa Cause has been collecting donations of toiletries and personal hygiene items. On Christmas Day, they will meet at Gateway station to walk around the neighbourhood to hand out the hampers, jackets, sweaters, and socks.
