Over 20 events organized by youth and for youth across the province for BC Youth Week 2019, May 1-7.

Surrey Youth Showcase Dance Battle and Hip Hop on May 12, 2018 at the Fleetwood Community Centre. Breakers compete in crews of three in the junior (age 16 and under) or senior (ages 17-21) divisions, while teams of 3 to 8 Hip Hop dancers between the ages of 13 and 18 years take part in a choreography contest.

The Surrey Youth Showcase Basketball Tournament is May 5, 2018 at the Guildford Recreation Centre. Compete in this 5-on-5 youth basketball tournament for juniors (ages 13-15) and seniors (ages 15-18). The Surrey Youth Showcase is a part of BC Youth Week.

Some Assembly Theatre Company presents the World Premiere of The Release Party, a new play with the Roundhouse Youth Theatre Action Group (“RHYTAG”) at the Roundhouse May 2-5, 2018 as a part of BC Youth Week.
