Disclosure: Sample — I was there with a group thanks to Northern BC Tourism. It's free to trek through the forest but our tour from TOLAC was on the house. I would actually recommend having a guide in the winter due the elements -- they have wilderness training, first aid, they know the route, and they know how to get you out of waist-deep snow pits.
