    • Peak season pricing is frozen at last year’s rates, and they’ve added a new Family Season Pass, bundling two adult and two youth season passes for just $75.99 during the pre-sale.

As the Market gears up for its biggest year yet, the traditional German-inspired event will continue to share vendor news, activities, and music schedules – with some notable new surprises. Traditions such as Glühwein (mulled wine), savoury treats and baked goods will also be back, along with festive music and amped up lighting displays.

This year, the cheer is spreading south of the border with the Seattle Christmas Market celebrating its inaugural year at the Seattle Center from November 24 to December 24, 2023.

Speakeasy Comedy in Downtown Vancouver

After decades of experience doing live improv comedy shows, performing alongside comedy giants like Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles, Denise Jones and David Milchard realized they wanted to make comedy their full-time job and started The Comedy Department.

Tickets for their Saturday Night Laughs are available online now, and you can also book them for for a private event.

A Unique Home Venue

Hilarious and captivation magic, drag, and comedy shows in Vancouver.

Audiences can sit back, relax and delight in the unique venue The Comedy Department calls home, The Show Cellar (at 1755 Davie Street near Denman) in English Bay.

Offering full food and beverage service during the show, this red table-clothed cabaret showroom creates a cool, speakeasy vibe and gives audiences a more personal and engaging evening than some of the bigger spaces in the city. 

Hitting the Road

Over the next few months The Comedy Department will also be touring in Port Moody, White Rock, Chilliwack and Fort Langley. Their hit holiday show, Holiday Comedy Rumble, will be performed at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam December 17 to 21, 2023.
