The Pint will debut as a New Hot Spot for German Soccer Fans Downtown!
No Designated Driver Necessary
Vancouver, BC, June 7, 2014: If you are a fan of Germany for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil and you want to have a place to watch the games with your mates, consider “The Pint” in the Lotus Hotel, at Abbot and Pender. The first game will take place Monday at 9 am June 16th. A ticket to this would make the perfect Father’s Day Present for your “Papa”. The entrance fee includes the first beer, sponsored by Budweiser who are World Cup Sponsors, and there will be a chance to win FIFA Products and a German Shirt at half-time every game.
There are three good reasons to show up at The Pint, besides getting a beer to start your day. (Fruehschoppen is the German term that basically means drinking before midday in company)… Number one you are able to watch the game on one of 80+ Television sets. There are television sets everywhere, including HDTV sets. Number two Jennings Hospitality will be organizing some German goodies, such as Bavarian Pretzels and Heidel Confiserie chocolate. Number three is if you are one of the 70,000 people who live downtown, you can easily walk over and then take the Stadium Skytrain or any of the Translink busses home. No designated driver is necessary.
Games will be Germany Vs. Portugal on the 16h of June. Germany vs. Ghana on the 21st of June. Finally Germany vs. USA on the 26th of June. You can find all of these events and more information on their Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/onegermanhouse.
Upper Deck Kitchen & Taphouse will be open early showing all World Cup games, lots of televisions, big screens, great beer selection, large tables for groups, great food and a 9:00 liquor license it is a proper place to watch sports.
