Stories of Giving
byI received a Christmas card in the mail from OptimumPR along with a little booklet that contained a special gift. I’ve made a video to explain:
Head to Stories of Giving to share a personal message about what you could do/have done to show that a little gesture can go a long way. They’ve even included origami instructions on how to fold the $10 bill, nice!
My gift will be going to the Union Gospel Mission – not only because I believe in the great work that they do, they also have a special place in my heart (especially the New Westminster location).

Cute story. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome idea!
Sounds like someone’s getting a little bit of a cold.
When I was a kid, my dad knew how to fold a two-dollar bill to show the Queen’s bum. Fun, hey?
I am giving $10 to each of my five grandaughters to pay forward to something or someone special! Giving is such a wonderful life lesson!! I love this project! I hope this will carry on for years to come not just for this Christmas!
That’s awesome. A guy I work with got the same card… very cool idea. I love that you’re giving to UGM 🙂 Big bravo to Cossette, too.
I work for Cossette, so I got the same card. I wasn’t involved in dreaming it up, but I also thought it was a great idea! I also donated my $10 to UGM with the New Westminster location in mind, and “matched” the donation. I figured if UGM can stretch one dollar to three, this would stretch that $10 gesture to $60 worth of impact.
