Canadian Blog Awards 2008: Voting Begins
byAlthough you don’t win anything but bragging rights and a badge for your sidebar, I still like the Canadian Blog Awards as they are people-powered and they always introduce me to some great blog and sites across our nation [Canadian Blog Awards 2007].
The nomination process is complete and round one voting has now started. This will continue for another week until there is a second round of voting (finalists) and it all wraps up December 7th. You can only vote once per week, in each category.
Here are some highlights from the West Coast and some familiar faces (I realize this is not every person nominated from Vancouver, this is simply a quick list I have assembled):
On a related note, I will have a special announcement on Miss604.com on Thursday, November 27th at 7:00am about a contest, an event, prizes, and support for a local non-profit all rolled into one. This one’s going to be big for Vancouver so stay tuned.

I’ve said it publicly, on my blog, and privately when it’s just the two of us having lunch or going for a coffee: while part of my success has been my hard work, I owe a great debt of gratitude to you and your patience in teaching me and guiding me in many ways. You are one hell of a Blogging Jedi Master! But you knew this already 🙂
I’m proud of you too. Hugs!
Marina Atunes is also in the hunt for best podcast (RowThree) & I have a nod in best entertainment blog for 353 Haiku Movie Review.
Nice work from all the nominees.
