- Halloween Hunt at The City of Lougheed
- October 9 to 31, 2026 with friendly ghosts, magical moonlight, sweet treats, and mischievous mummies have taken over the Centre. Follow the Halloween Hunt through four whimsical displays as you search for hidden clues along the way. Pick up your Scare Sheet at Guest Services, complete your Halloween adventure, then return your completed sheet to claim a special Halloween treat. The Halloween Hunt is complimentary, available during Guest Services hours, and open to guests 12 years of age and under.
- Ghouls & Goblins Toonie Skate
- Hit the ice in costume at Kensington Complex (6159 Curtis St, Burnaby) on Sunday, October 25 from 11:30am to 1:45pm. Admission fees apply. Glide across the ice, get your face painted, create eerie crafts, and play spectral games.
- Day of the Dead Celebration
- Saturday, October 24 & Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 12:00pm to 7:00pm. After six years on Granville Island, the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Market is expanding to The Amazing Brentwood Mall Plaza for a two-day cultural festival filled with live music, art, food, and family activities.
- Haunted Village at Burnaby Village Museum
- October 23-25, 31-31. Wander through the 10-acre open-air site, featuring dramatic lighting and encounter a haunted graveyard, a spooky circus and bewitching stores, plus many more. Savour delicious Halloween themed treats and warm beverages available for purchase at Mai’s Café. DJ Drac and his legion of dancers are back by popular demand. The carousel will not be in operation during Haunted Village. Book tickets online in advance.
- Central Spark
- There is free fun for everyone Friday, October 30 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Located at Patterson Ave (Kingsway to Central Blvd) & Central Park (Kingsway & Patterson Ave). Enjoy a lively dance party with a DJ, food trucks, live entertainment, artistic pumpkin carving, a drone light display (7:15pm weather-permitting) and a fireworks show (7:30pm).
Coquitlam
- Heritage Halloween at Mackin House
- Saturday, October 31 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at Mackin House (1116 Brunette Ave, Coquitlam). Walk through our haunted travelling circus train caboose, make crafts, get candy, and check out our spooky cabinet of curiosities displays in the museum. Free admission, RSVP in advance.

- Halloween at Willowbrook
- Friday, October 30 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm pull up for a free family-friendly drive-in movie in the northwest parking lot. Get cozy in your vehicle, tune in through your FM radio and enjoy a Halloween favourite under the stars. Then on Saturday, October 31 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm put on your Halloween best and parade through Willowbrook, collecting sweet surprises from participating retailers along the way.
- Grave Tales with Fort Langley National Historic Site
- October 16 to 31, Fort Langley National Historic Site invites you to step into the past with Grave Tales, an immersive, thrilling experience. Join on-site or take a guided journey through the historic village of Fort Langley, where the past whispers through every corner. - Halloweekend: Strange Things on the Fraser
- October 24, 25, 31, for all ages, book tickets online. Something strange is happening along the Fraser River…Salmon are turning into zombies, animal eyes are glowing in the dark, a plant has started eating insects, and a snake appears to have two heads! Explore some of the strangest animals, plants, and adaptations found along the river. Join a Halloween night of live music, group sing-alongs, drinks, food, prizes, raffles and plenty of fun all in support of the Rock the Block Society and Mechanics of Music Fest.

- K-Pop Candy Hunters at Capilano Mall
- October 31 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm gather your squad for trick-or-treating at more than 50 participating retailers plus meet and greets with Rumi, Mira and Zoey. Come dressed in your Halloween best and look for floor signs marking each participating candy stop. Treats available while supplies last.
- Canyon Frights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
- October 9 to November 1, 2026 at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park (3735 Capilano Rd, North Vancouver). The iconic suspension bridge and the forest come alive with light displays and frightful decor. Visitors can enjoy games, scavenger hunts, and Halloween activities for little goblins and ghouls. Purchase tickets online in advance.
Richmond
- Halloween Hoot
- Saturday, October 24 through Sunday, November 1 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Drop-in to the Richmond Nature Park (11851 Westminster Highway, at No. 5 Road) to view Halloween decorations along the Pond Trail. Over 35 inflatables, 10 unique nature-themed art installations and a tickle tunnel will be displayed daily. Pumpkins are available for purchase during this family-friendly event that runs rain or shine. Admission is by donation, with proceeds supporting the Richmond Nature Park Society’s nature education programs.
- Gallery of Horrors Halloween Community Fundraiser
- Saturday, October 24 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The Arts Conservatory invites Richmond families and community members to come together for Gallery of Horrors, their annual family-friendly Halloween fundraiser in support of Jeremy’s Memorial Foundation. Admission is free, and families of all ages are welcome to come in costume and enjoy trick-or-treating, Halloween arts and crafts, dancing and a photo booth at no cost. Additional activities include carnival games, face and airbrush art, balloons, food and refreshments available for purchase, as well as a haunted house by donation.
- Minoru Halloween Fireworks Festival
- Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 6:30pm to 9:15pm at Minoru Park (7191 Granville Avenue, Richmond). The 40th Annual Halloween Festival’s theme is Alien Invasion and families are invited to enter an out-of-this-world Halloween experience filled games, performances, food trucks, and a giant pumpkin display from KPU. Guests will enjoy a live stage performance the singing and dancing group, The Showstoppers, while fire performers and acrobats will deliver high-energy spectacles that are sure to amaze. The night will conclude with a spectacular fireworks finale at 9:00pm, lighting up the sky above Minoru Park. Costumes are encouraged.
Surrey
- Spooktacular Newton
- Surrey’s only Halloween street festival is Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 11:00am to 4:00pm offering a day of free spooky fun. Complete with trick-or-treating, mini golf, haunted train rides, kid fun zone, face painting, food trucks, bouncy castles and games; Spooktacular Newton has something for everyone. Don’t miss the special dance performances by City Entertainment. Visit the Pumpkin Patch by Surrey Food Bank. They’ll also be collecting non-perishable food items; bring a few to share and make a real difference for someone in need.
- BOO-seum Halloween Party
- Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Museum of Surrey (17710 56A Ave, Surrey) get into the Halloween spirit at this free family-friendly Halloween party. Create crafts, enjoy the photobooth, join the costume parade, and catch spooky performances by the Re-enactors in the theatre.
- Family Halloween Event at Newton Seniors Centre
- Saturday, October 24 from 9:30am to 11:00am at the Newton Seniors Centre (13775 70 Ave, Surrey). A family-friendly Halloween celebration filled with treats, arts and crafts, games, and more. Costumes are welcome and encouraged. This free, drop-in event is open to all ages and no registration required. Families with little ones can also enjoy craft goodie bags and bouncy castles specially set up for children ages 1–5.
- Bear Creek Park Pumpkin Train
- On until October 31, 2026. $12 per person. Admission includes a train ride through the decorated forest, treat, pumpkin, and crafts.
- Secrets of the Haunted Bog at Guildford
- Friday, October 9 to Saturday, October 31. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Visit a world where dangers, scary creatures and more lie in wait of the unsuspecting traveler. This fright-fully haunted experience at Guildford Town Centre is free to enjoy, if you dare. Bring your little boos and ghouls for this walk-thru experience featuring spooky creatures and more haunted surprises. Donations of non-perishable food items in support of the Surrey Food Bank are encouraged.

- Halloween at Britannia: Monsters, Machines & Mischief
- Saturday & Sunday October 17-18 and October 24-25, 2026. Monster Machines are taking over Britannia Mine Museum, bringing plenty of mischief, delightful surprises, and family fun along the way. From the historic underground tunnel to the Machine Shop, discover playful monsters inspired by the real machines that have played an essential role in both historic and modern mining operations. Meet the monsters, uncover the stories behind the machines, and follow the Halloween fun above and below ground.
- Halloween Trick-or-Trick at the Sea to Sky Gondola
- Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the Sea to Sky Gondola (36800 BC-99, Squamish). Admission included with purchase of lift ticket or pass. Costume-clad trick-or-treaters of all ages are invited to enjoy seasonal surprises around the Alpine Alley trail at the Summit.

- Family Discovery: Spooky Stories at the Museum
- Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 11:00am to 3:00pm, book tickets online in advance. Join a special spooky guided tour of Asian Comics: Evolution of an Art Form, led by Education and Public Programs Manager Rosalie Gunawan. Discover the comic artists across Asia who bring the supernatural to life, and explore how mystical beasts, legendary creatures, and folklore ghosts are woven into stories and visual art. Let your imagination take center stage with a drop-in shadow puppet craft. Create a mythical character inspired by the exhibition, bring it to life on our shadow puppet stage, and use it to tell your own spooky story!
- Spooky Storytime for Kids
- Friday, October 30, 2026 from 6:30pm to 7:15pm. Get spooky with acclaimed children’s author Stephanie Ellen Sy for a family-friendly ghost story inspired by Philippine and Chinese folklore. After the storytelling, create your own Chinese Opera Mask to take home. All materials are provided. Come dressed in your favourite costume for a chance to win prizes. Recommended for children ages 3+. Tickets available online.
- Halloween Spooktacular
- For youth only at the Roundhouse Arts & Recreation Centre October 31 from 2:30pm to 7:00pm. An indoor walkthrough filled with ghosts, skeletons, and spooky surprises. Registered participants receive a treat bag and photo‑booth print. All children must be supervised by an adult.. Tickets $12 per child.
- Main Street Safe Trick or Treat
- October 31st from 3:00pm to 6:00pm from East 5th to East 30th on Main, and the Plaza at Main & 14th. Free! Wander Mount Pleasant along Main Street and visit over 100 participating businesses for trick or treating. Look for the pumpkin poster in the window.
- A Big Boo Bash at Mount Pleasant Community Centre
- Calling all Ghosts and Goblins to join a scary good time with Halloween themed activities and crafts. Come dressed up in your costume. Saturday, October 31 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Enroll online in advance.
- HowlOver Halloween at FlyOver Canada
- October 9-31, 2026 at FlyOver Canada at Canada Place. Follow Biker Mama’s broomstick flight path as she guides you through our original Canadian experience from a bewitching perspective. She may be out-of-this-world, but we promise she’s a local. Tickets available online in advance.
- Fin-Tastic Fall Days at the Aquarium
- On now until October 31 at the Vancouver Aquarium (845 Avison Way, Vancouver). Tickets are available for purchase online. Featuring underwater pumpkin carving shows, seasonal animal programs, and an all-new Spookley the Square Pumpkin 4D movie and meet-and-greet experience.
- Trick-or-Treat in Yaletown
- October 31 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Dress in costume and visit select/participating businesses between Drake and Nelson, from Homer to Pacific Boulevard for Trick or Treating.
- Halloweenie at Granville Island Kids Market
- Free event on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Dress up in your spookiest and strike a scary or silly pose for the spooky photobooth, transform into something frightfully fun with face painting, enjoy some live BOOOOO-sical entertainment in the foyer. Trick or Treating from 11:00am to 1:00pm, bring your own loot bag to collect treats throughout Kids Market.
- Parade of Lost Souls: Little Souls
- On October 31 Parade of Little Souls welcomes children who want to join in on the colourful festivities. Procession for the Parade of Little Souls begins at 7:00pm at the secret location revealed the nights before.
