Vancouver, a Year in Photos 2025
A few years ago I started a “Today in Vancouver” photography series on social media with photos I captured on my daily walks around the city. I immediately realized I rarely ever put that content on the blog so I have tried to get better and publishing collections throughout the year (like cherry blossoms, snow, auroras, or autumn). I’ve had a lovely time capturing these images throughout the year so I have curated another Vancouver, a Year in Photos recap for 2025 as it comes to a close.
Vancouver, a Year in Photos 2025
I checked everything off my “wish list” for 2025: I had a photo in an exhibition in a gallery, my third book was published, I wrote articles for Megaphone Magazine and Douglas Magazine, and I won two awards: ICONS Magazine PR & Media ICON and the City of Vancouver’s Award of Excellence – Entrepreneurship! I covered several music festivals, community events, the Invictus Games, and the WNBA game in Vancouver. It was also an amazing season for the Whitecaps, including a historic playoff run and the addition of Thomas Müller. Finally, it was an honour to support and sponsor over 35 nonprofit and community campaigns and events in 2025.
Now, I have no idea what to strive for in 2026, but I will keep making content and sharing information about my beautiful city and community.
