Western Canada’s largest celebration of animation
The conference, which runs alongside the festival at the Roundhouse in Yaletown, offers attendees an exclusive opportunity to learn from the creative minds behind some of the biggest animated films of the year. It opens with Brad Bird, the Academy Award®-winning director and renowned storyteller behind The Incredibles, The Iron Giant and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.
There will also be presentations on the making of the world-wide sensation KPop Demon Hunters, Pixar Animation’s Elio, the upcoming adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Twits, and In Your Dreams.

This year it opens with the Western Canadian Premiere of Kid Koala’s feature film debut Space Cadet. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director.
