BC Lions Season Schedule 2025
byStart planning your summer in Vancouver! The CFL just released its 2025 schedule, with the BC Lions opening their 71st season on June 7th vs the Edmonton Elks at BC Place. The home schedule for the Lions features five Saturdays, three Fridays and one Sunday.

Fans will get to enjoy the fourth annual Concert Kickoff at BC Place on June 7th at 7:00pm, with that headliner to be announced in the coming months.
In week three, the Lions battle the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday, June 21st in the first 4:00pm home clash of the summer. This also marks the second portion of a huge home- and- home series as head coach Buck Pierce returns to Manitoba in week two on Thursday, June 12th.
July includes back-to-back home games with 4:00pm starts as the Saskatchewan Roughriders come to town for the third annual Watermelon Smash on Saturday, July 19th followed by a date with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Sunday, July 27th.
Following a bye and two road games, the Lions are back home on Saturday, August 16th to battle the Montreal Alouettes. There are four home games post-Labour Day beginning with the Ottawa REDBLACKS in town on Friday, September 12th.
The fifth annual Orange Shirt Day Game honouring and respecting Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is set for Friday, September 26th as the Lions clash with the Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts.
To begin the regular season’s final month, the Lions welcome Vernon Adams Jr. and the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday, October 4. The third annual Gravy Bowl is the final 4:00pm home kickoff.
The regular season home slate concludes on Friday, October 17th with a second visit from the Edmonton Elks. All roads lead to Winnipeg and the 112th Grey Cup at Princess Auto Stadium on Sunday, November 16th.
